Fairly typical B&B turned "hotel". Parking in the back was very helpful, proximity to downtown Oxford close enough, price fair. The room was small, the stairs up to it even smaller, with two fire doors you had to haul your luggage through. The bathroom was nice, and the shower the best one of our trip. The older man who checked us in had that passive aggressive snooty attitude that you'd see in a movie characterization of a Brit. I had just driven from Heathrow to Oxford on zero sleep after a 15 hour flight, so forgive me if I can't figure out which door is the right one for the property entrance. His sarcastic comments were not appreciated.

The room was nice, and the staff and reception employees were extremely kind and helpful! The shower was phenomenal. Had a good experience, would book again.

The property as in a great location, great bathroom ! and the staff was great help. They allowed us to check in early, parking and the room was clean. Good place to stay for Oxford, just outside Oxford, within walking distance but outside enough to not get a large amount of traffic.

Bom lugar para ficar em Oxford. Limpo e com equipe prestativa. O problema é o fato de não ter ar condicionado. No verão, no quarto que ficamos 16, o sol bate à tarde toda até às 21:30hs. Com isso o quarto fica quente mesmo à noite. Talvez se ficar em um quarto de frente para a rua o sol só baterá pela manhã e pode ser possível dormir. Íamos ficar 2 noites, mas fomos para outro hotel no segundo dia.

The guesthouse occupies three units in a row of townhouses. My family of three got a spacious room in the basement facing the street. There was some street noises in the morning, but they were tolerable. The house was dated, but the interior was well maintained. The bathroom looked recently renovated and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was only 5 minutes bus ride from Oxford City center and 15 minutes bus ride from rail station. Our only interaction with a staff member was at checkin, and he was very friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our only minor gripe was the lack of air conditioning in summer heat, but that's a common trait in most of Europe.

Lovely clean spacious room. Great shower with tea and coffee. They had put two fans in our room during the heatwave. Just a 10 minute walk into Oxford. Great spot.

Definitely not a summer property. We upgraded our room for a bigger bed which included a mini fridge and espresso maker. That being said we faced the road and the room was HOT! No AC so windows open with a very average floor fan. The road noise wasn’t horrific but it was there even at 4 am. Nice shower, wardrobe. I’d book again if I was traveling in April or May.

Clean room, good breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The room was small but clean, bed was comfortable. Wifi was available. As it is an older building it did not have AC. We were provided with a fan and we were able to open the window. Good location

Good rooms especially for families, stairs only so not very accessible. One downside is no AC which was bad during a heatwave but i understand it’s the normal here. Staff were helpful. Check out is at 10am so thats also quite early compared to other places.

Check in was very speedy with a warm welcome and clear instructions. The room was clean with tea and a coffee machine, liked the fact that we had a small fridge so could keep our water cool; bathroom was not massive but clean and with shampoo, soap etc, shower was great, warm and powerful. We arrived when it was really warm and they had put a fan in the room which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute Weiterempfehlung Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Bad, dass sehr gemütlich und sauber war. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. In die Innenstadt konnte man innerhalb von ca. 15 Min. zu Fuß laufen oder direkt vor dem B&B mit dem Bus abfahren. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Check-In war schnell und problemlos. Zum Frühstück können wir leider nichts sagen, weil wir außerhalb gegessen haben. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.

The location is great less than a mile to walk or a bus-stop just outside. Parking is available at the back of the hotel. Our room was generous in size, very clean and provided a much needed fan (Heatwave). The bathroom was very clean, too. Check-in was very easy and the only interaction we had with the staff (we only stayed the night, no breakfast). Fair price for value. would stay again
