Overpriced. Room is dirty and outdated. The only plus point is the location, just across from Copacabana beach.

Need improve cleaness

La gente que trabaja en el hotel hacen la estadía muy agradable, muy gentil la atención de Vitor Hugo y excelente la comida de el chef Franco.

The staff at the Ritz Copacabana were attentive and excellent. The property itself was quiet, which I loved, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend if you want a cozy spot along Copacabana Beach- close to the excitement without the noise and congestion of the beach.

Great servicec

The unbeatable location, a mere block from Copacabana beach, was a major highlight of my stay. Adding to the positive experience was the pleasant surprise of an upgrade to a room offering a partial view of the beach. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very close to Copacabana beach, just a block away. This is most convenient to enjoy the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the breakfast buffet is also very nice. On the minus side, there is too much street noise in the night. Though I'm unsure how this problem can be solved.

À mon arrivé une chambre très sal m’a été donnée ! Sable de partout drogue coller au sol ! Une seconde dans le même état ! Ce n’est que après 30mn et trois visites qu’une chambre propre m’a été trouver et donner ! Chambre propre grand mot ! Drap sal que j’ai mis au sol afin de bien faire comprendre qu’il fallait les changer ! Le lendemain matin en voulant partir je m’aperçoit que cette chambre ne se ferme pas ! J’ai donc perdu 1h et fait trois aller retour afin qu’il comprennent que la serrure été casser ! Aucune excuse ! Un des réceptionniste est très arrogant et méprisant oubliant presque que la chambre coûte 6 fois sa paye à la semaine !pareil pour la femme ! Uniquement Victor ugo sauver l’affaire !!!! De plus l’hôtel dit avoir une salle de sport ! C’est faux aucune salle de sport est dans l’établissement il faut sortir de l’hôtel pour cela et aller dans une salle plus loin ! Il demande une caution qui après deux semaine ne m’a tjr pas été rendu ! Honteux ! Je déconseille vraiment

Our key would not buzz us to our floor and we had to go down to the front desk a couple of times over a weekend to get a replacement key to our room because it wouldn't open

Close to the beach, but one block away, which was great, as the beach can get busy/loud at any time of day. The staff are amazing and very helpful.

This location is very good. Walk a few minutes to the main beach that stretches 2 miles one way. It's safe to walk during the day and at night. There are lots of restaurants around. The wifi is also fast enough for work. Breakfast could be improved. They serve the same thing almost every morning.

I recently stayed at the Ritz Copacabana and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the hotel is conveniently located in Copacabana, the overall experience was underwhelming. The rooftop pool is extremely small with very little shaded space, making it difficult to enjoy during the day. The staff was not particularly attentive, and this was especially noticeable at the buffet breakfast, where the team never greeted guests or made any effort to be welcoming. Additionally, the hotel failed to mention ongoing daytime construction, which was disruptive. Another major downside is that the hotel charges for everything—even basic amenities like coffee and water, which felt excessive given the price. While the property was clean, the overall experience was lacking in hospitality and value. For the price, I would have chosen another hotel. I would not recommend the Ritz Copacabana and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Just a basic hotel in Copacabana, not 4 stars as advertised. Barely 3 stars. Very close to boardwalk, relatively clean. Beds, pillows, sheets were terrible, that's why I gave it 2 stars for comfort. Has A/C, fridge., coffee maker. Everything costs though, even water, all your coffee pods.
