My stay at Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel & Spa (pronounced ‘Nan-thee’) was truly memorable. The food was absolutely amazing—every meal was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The hotel itself was comfortable, cozy, and peaceful, making it the perfect retreat. The spa was fully booked during my stay, but the staff went above and beyond to fit me in for a massage—and I’m so glad they did! It was just what I needed. What really stood out overall was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming and genuinely helpful. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Another lovely stay at the hotel, always welcoming and enjoyable to stay here. Only negative was our room was not ready as promised at 3pm, or at 4pm when next promised. Other than the waiting around, no issues.

I stayed in room 11 which was a lovely big room. It was next to the extraction fan of the kitchen which was noisy. It did not affect my sleep as it was turned off at around 9:30 ish when the kitchen was closed.

This is my 2nd stay atbthe hotel as Its great location for Bike Park Wales, which is about 10/15 minute drive. Overall good stay. It has been very hot 30 for the two days i was staying the hotel does not provide fans, and its advisable not to open windows due to being so close to a stream and there being loads of little flys. Staff have been great extremely accomadating and went above. The bike store didnt have enough space for both my bikes, so one the first noght they let me keep it else where and when i got back on the 2nd day, the bike store was cleared out. Good breakfast. Mint for tea.

Location: Great location for exploring the peaks, which was what we travelled for. 5 mins drive from the start of the main routes for hiking. Lots of parking at the hotel. Room: Was nice to have a separate living and sleeping space, bathroom was large with shower and bath. Furniture and decoration was a little dated/worn in places. Despite there being radiators, the staff were unable to get the heating working in our room which was disappointing, as we had requested this (multiple times) after a long day of hiking in pouring rain and high winds. Spa/gym: Jacuzzi was pretty cold and the steam room was only working intermittently. Sauna was small but good. The gym is small, but fine for a little workout. Food: Breakfast was delicious, cooked and continental options. We also had dinner there which was also delicious, steaks cooked beautifully. Good portion sizes. Service was great in the restaurant.

We were delighted with Nant Ddu. Hotel. Our room needed a little TLC, but the overall surroundings made up for any shortfalls. The pool andsurrounding areas we very clean and swimming was a joy. Breakfast too, was excellent. We had a delicious evening meal, but it was pricey. We really recommend Nant Ddu and hope to return one day.

Good location for those looking to get out into the Brecon's. Friendly staff. Property is a bit tired.

If I am honest, this place is tired and in need of a refresh. The restaurant and food served was bad, but the room and the pool area were poor and needed work. Whilst we had a pleasant stay, I'm not sure I would return if I was looking for a stay in the area unless the rooms and pool area has been refreshed (for example, the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, loungers and changing room all need extensive work to get the ok again, and the rooms also need refreshing.

Everything was wonderful. Stunning location, great amenities, friendly staff - I will return !

Comfortable bed, nice room with a view over the garden. Only downside was that there was no shower curtain/ screen on the bath which made having a shower difficult. Restaurant food was excellent and the staff were lovely.

Excellent pool etc. Nice breakfast and evening meal. Plenty of parking. Short drive to Pen y Fan. Will stay again.

Lovely property. I did t use any spa services so can’t comment on that feature. My room smelled a bit stall but open windows for a couple hours cured that. Hand shower wasn’t ideal and toilet required perseverance for a proper flush. Bar and restaurant staff were absolutely amazing with their professional conduct and friendliness. Breakfast was awesome.

Dated, spa really shabby and mouldy. Restaurant super slow and rally not worth the price ( garlic brioche over cooked in microwave and came burned, pork loin was not a loin etc...)

Lovely hotel. Room spot kn. Food on evenjng and mornjng was lovely.

Great hotel, great location and lovely staff

It was so nice to have free access to the gym, pool, and sauna. Plus, breakfast service was great, so much good food along with superb service.
