La propiedad está bien mantenida, y el desayuno y la atención del personal del hotel estuvieron excelente. Aparte de eso, la ubicación del hotel está excelente, porque está un poco apartado de la calle la Calzada, que es una calle muy movida que genera mucha bulla y donde hay música con el volumen alto en los bares/clubs. Hubiera sido mejor que los baños tuvieran shampoo y acondicionador, pero por el costo total, eso era lo de menos. Las baterías de los controles de remoto de los cuartos estaban malas, y una de las bujillas del baño estaba mala, pero el personal del hotel las reemplazó rápido. Muchas Gracias, Carlos. Room was good. The outside was beautiful.

The room was in as good a condition as possible for an older place. It was clean. The AC was cold. No one knew how to help with the ‘smart tv” and Spanish only instructions. The gardens and grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The female manager was genuine and amazingly helpful. There was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion in the room. AND no room service or food availability on site. Having said that, the front desk staff arranged for someone from a local restaurant to bring a menu and then returning with a truly amazing, inexpensive meal.

We had a lovely stay. Very convenient location to explore Granada. The grounds of the hotel are picturesque - walkways that overlook the pool and have nice decor. It was really nice staying here. The owners and staff are wonderful. Parking is easy. Breakfast was a great tradition Nicaraguan breakfast.

I really enjoyed my 5 nights here. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is close enough to the tourist areas, but also just far enough to feel like you aren’t in the middle of it. The breakfast was very delicious.

Nice retreat away from the center but still close enough to walk to the center. Very homely. I was comfortable and felt like I was with family. Friendly and inviting staff.

Mycket vacker och typisk Granada-byggnad. Härligt stora, traditionella frukostar och en bra pool. Rummet hade spis som inte fungerade, TV fungerade inte heller och det tog tre dagar att fixa den ("jag glömde"). Det var många saker de glömde...

This was a wonderful place. I kept booking additional stays until they were sold out. Loved the pool and staff were friendly. Great place for Spanish immersion! I did book at a different place to sleep the last two night but that was because of a surprise fumigation. That’s apparently mandate by the authorities. The situation allowed me to escape Granada to discover the natural Laguna de Apoyo. A pristine natural lake in a nature reserve. Loved having two places and came back to take hot showers at La Pasada Del Sol. Did not need the pool since the Laguna is heated by volcano vents providing the lake a mineral content that apparently has healing properties. Walking up at the Laguna Beach Club was magical seeing the sun rise reflecting on the water as it rose. It was nice to leave when the Club opened and the loud crowds came in. I will try to return to both with dual bookings, that worked out quite well.

"La Posada del Sol" translates to "The Inn of the Sun" in english and "L'auberge du soleil" in french. I would say it earns its name in spirit and vibe. Paix, Pax and Peace!

En Nicaragua, es fundamental tener conocimientos básicos de español y respetar la cultura. Para mí, esto fue una inmersión total en el español. Esta propiedad se adaptó perfectamente a mis necesidades, aunque una cocina más autosuficiente habría sido genial. Evito los restaurantes y gasto mi dinero en ingredientes de calidad para cocinar comidas saludables. Volvería a reservar, pero se están agotando, pero pienso volver.

I highly recommend this lovely hotel! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was great! My husband and I both had the best night’s sleep in ages there! I would definitely return to this gem!

The hotel was poorly maintained. Very dusty lobby area. The pool had green mold. We were traveling with an 82 year old person, she struggled to get up the stairs because they were steep. We had sent the property an email asking for rooms in the lower level but property never replied to our request. Property refused to issue a refund. Pictures that appear on website are old, property was obviously staged for that. Stay away
