Awesome hotel with wonderful staff and amazing amenities.

Frondesk and restaurant people are super judgemental. You will only greeted if you are dressed as per their standard. Special attention is given to foreigners while indians are generally disregarded and disrespected. House cleaning were super nice but ladies opening the gate are super judgemental about you and your looks. I would never recommend anyone to stay there. Also loud music till 2 or 3 am is very common. You just can’t sleep after an exhausting day because dj is continuously playing music .

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata during my business trip to India, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I travel a lot for work and rarely write reviews, but the staff at this property truly deserve appreciation. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm welcome. The check-in process felt like a first-class experience. A special thank you to Sayani from the front office, who made me feel so comfortable after a long and exhausting day of meetings. I was extremely tired, but the way she planned my evening completely changed my day. I was able to relax, recharge, and return feeling full of energy again. She arranged a foot massage and a relaxing spa treatment for me, and it turned out to be one of the best spa experiences I’ve had. Preeti at the spa was also wonderful and made the experience even more special. The hospitality, care, and professionalism of the entire team were outstanding. Thank you to everyone at JW Marriott Kolkata for making my stay so memorable.

I booked for a Dinner inclusive room, however could not avail as I reached at 10:40pm and its only valid till 10:30pm. These terms and conditions should be mentioned upfront. Secondly, the all day dining option is only available till 11pm, that too in a 5 star hotel. I have never seen anything like this ever.

My family and I stayed at JW Marriott Kolkata last weekend. We had the most luxurious stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. But the food was the highlight for us … it was simply divine. Big thanks to Arvind Singh (operations manager at JW Kitchen) for organising the restaurant so incredibly well. Excellent quality food and amazing service! Huge shoutout and gratitude Souvik and Bishal for serving us with the utmost hospitality and care. Souvik really went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us find preparations suitable to our pure veg dietary requirements. Souvik really excelled in his service. Thank you Souvik! Also thanks to Shreya at guest relations for her friendly and smooth checkin. I really appreciated her hospitality alot. We will certainly be back and encourage all travellers with young families to stay at JW Marriott Kolkata where you get the most wonderful 5 star stay!

Pillows were horrible to sleep on. Noise from the next door room kept me from sleeping, when I complained about it at 2am to the front desk the noise stopped! Also, in the shower the next morning I slipped, lucky I am still young enough to get up, however there's no phone for emergency in the bathroom. I did hurt myself, I will add.i don't think I will be staying here again.unfortunately.

Attentive staff were everywhere, service was excellent, food wonderful, room very good….an all round great experience…..thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. From the moment we arrived to check out, the staff were top rate - every single person encountered was pleasant, smiley, not just willing, but wanting, to help make the stay better. Could not ask for more. We booked an exec room and was on the 20th floor. Amazing views. Big room, really comfortable bed, big bathroom, top quality amenities. There's a great coffee shop on the ground floor, as well as the buffet breakfast area. Nightclub in the basement but that did not affect us. Great pool and fitness area. An absolutely fabulous stay and what a great place Kolkata is. Thank you

I only wish I got a little upper floors. But the hotel is immaculate. Will definitely stay again !!
