Stunning old world beauty married to a completely modern hotel. The staff was so welcoming, professional and helpful. They offered every possible assistance and answers to every request. The rooms were well appointed and everything in them functioned without fail. our bathroom, shower and tub was huge . The lighting controls in bathroom, corridor and bedside controlled every light from any place you were positioned. The entire hotel was very quiet and spotless.

It is very disappointing to register at the hotel, one that i have stayed at many times to learn they have no water to allow for showers etc. What is disappointing is i believe they had knowledge of this and did not inform prior to arrival

It is a great choice for a downtown Montreal girls weekend away!

This property is beautiful and feels like you step back in time, but with all the luxuries of today. The staff was kind and helpful. The concierge helped my plan out my stay perfectly. The food is excellent and the room was very comfortable. I slept very well while on vacation.

This hotel lives up to the highest expectations, every single time. Two quick suggestions for the optics: - relocate stored luggage away from the front desk; when you have a lot there, it looks like a bazaar - the very first thing once sees for the hotel is the red carpet on the staircase. I’d recommend to keep it pristine (it is not)

Going to sound funny but the bathroom toilet was amazing. Heated seat with water and dryer for your bum. The room was cool and the staff was amazing

Bar and restaurant are unique and beautiful. Gym also good.

Loved the hotel for the history and location. Staffs were super friendly and the concierge had highly insightful recommendations to make your trip more memorable. The restaurant onsite was amazing and loved all the rooms that had so much history. My only complaint is the bed.. which didn’t feel the top tier. Regardless I’d return at the heartbeat.

The controls for the lights, the shades and the toilet, were unnecessarily complicated and nobody walked us through how to manage it. The ambience of the lobby and the rooms was not great, but the attached mansion was gorgeous. However, drinks were extraordinarily expensive at the bar and they should have offered a discount to people staying at the hotel, in my opinion.

I am highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back 😃

Great hotel. Great service. Great location. They still do evening turn down service and put a little chocolate, a water bottle and a glass by your bed. Excellent!

Super quiet and the bed was amazing and room was pitch black . We slept so good .

The hotel staff especially William the concierge and the front office led by Alexandre were friendly and excellent - all our requests were accommodated. We enjoyed the food at George's and the atmosphere at the bar was dynamic (especially David who put a lot of energy into every drink he made). We look forward to another visit soon.

Fantastic stay for our family! The only note is that if you’re driving, finding the hotel’s parking garage can be tricky. It took us about 40 minutes to find the right turn, while navigating the busy Montreal streets, with one-way roads and heavy traffic. We had similar challenges when taking Uber back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing—drivers often struggled to locate the entrance as well. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide clearer directions or more detailed information for guests arriving by car or rideshare.

Great hotel in the middle of all the shopping. Close to both McGill and Concordia.
