Staff was amazing

We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Everything about our visit was great — the only drawback was breakfast, as the sausage and eggs were a bit overcooked. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would happily return.

Wasn’t really what we were looking for on our trip to Ireland. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable.

Staff excellent. Food and service in bar excellent. Bedroom standard. Leisure centre outdated and not clean.

The ladies at reception are very friendly and pleasant. They were very helpful with information about what to see and do. The leisure centre at the hotel is lovely, clean and the showers are great. The hotel while very nice is a bit tired. The shower is over the bath makes it hard to get out. Breakfast is self service.

My wife has visited the Hotel before and i was intrigued by the nesting Crows surounding the treetops. The facilities are excellent.

The hotel is located in the heart of the town. Town center and local attractions are all within walking distance. Down sides hotel menu for restaurant a little bit lacking in choices All in all though a lovely quite and relaxing place to be.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Würde jedoch die vier Sterne eher als drei sehen.

The Abbey Hotel was a cute little place and had a lot of charm. The room was much larger than i expected for a European hotel. They are undergoing some renovations which will hopefully update the wear and tear without losing the charm. The property around the hotel is beautiful!

Very disappointing and a stretch to class it as a 4 star. First room we were given you had to pass through kitchen service halls and the bed itself had a small double. I believe I had booked an Executive double which said they came with a 6ft bed and clearly this wasn’t. They did move us straight away but it felt like it set the tone for the stay. The rest of the hotel and common areas felt tired and in need of updating. Having booked a B&B rate it also felt a bit cheap to have to pay extra if you wanted a cappuccino or latte. I’m afraid I could not recommend.

the place was dated but clean. staff were very friendly and helpful. bed was comfortable and the food was very nice.

This was our son’s wedding venue and it was fabulous. The staff were amazing, facilities excellent and we had a very enjoyable, happy time. The food and service were excellent and the sun came out for the occasion. Highly recommend this hotel.
