The front desk was very friendly and the room was very nice! The only thing was that we were unaware the the motor Inn portion is not on Lake Ontario...I was a little disappointed in that.

The room was clean, but definitely not worth the price charged. Cheap furniture, poorly stocked self service machines. (Children's pop rocks were 10.00 CAD!) In room amenities were more like a 2 star motor inn. No microwave. Fridge was tiny with no room to place our bought beverages. Rem Three or four snacks in room, with a 36 g bag of Hawkins Cheezies going for 8.00 CAD. Way beyond a reasonable convenience markup. Unbelievable. Front desk indicated light breakfast scones would be outside the door each morning. First night yes, second night no. Consistency and attention to detail does matter.

Room was clean. Amenities were more like a 2 star motel, and the room was significantly overpriced. In room conveniences were ridiculously overpriced. 36 g bag of Hawkins Cheezies for 8.00. Tiny bag of nuts that are sold in Dollarama for 1.25 were 10.00. Front desk offerred complementary cookies, but they were hard and stale. Will not be a repeat customer.

Room was big but bathroom toilet seems like public bathroom. We had 3 people staying but slippers and towels were do only 2 people

EV chargers broken and scarce Reception far from room in the rain; no umbrellas. Room rather austere, not luxurious in line with price point.

The queen-bed room was small but efficient with a glass partition between bathroom and the room. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant excellent with a beautiful view of the lake. The main disappointment was that we were staying at the Drake Motor Inn and the view was that of the parking lot. I have known that there will be no lake views but when going to the county, I didn't expect to have a view of a parking lot for over $600 per night. I would triple check with the hotel about which room I am getting if I were to ever stay there again.

The Motel is nice, we had many problems getting into our room as the door was locked and key did not work. It was hard to find the room and you were on your own getting there. There could have been coffee in the common area? The restaurant is amazing with wonderful food staff and seating.

We enjoyed our stay at the Drake Devonshire and Motor Inn. Friendly and efficient staff at the Inn and restaurant made the stay pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, nice amenities including a tablet to help search for things to do in and around the county. WiFi was available and worked, but a bit slow. WiFi being important since the cellular signals in the area was weak. We enjoyed breakfast (twice) and dinner at the inn. Quality, taste and presentation of the meals were excellent. As we drove over 360km in an Electric Vehicle (EV), the availability of EV charging stations was important. Use was on a first come first serve basis, which worked fine for us, however, one of the two EV charging stations was out of service, potentially making this a challenge if many visitors were at the Inn with EVs. The Inn is well located in Wellington, very close to a grocery store, sandwich, coffee and ice cream shops as well as some art and antique shops in the area. Overall a very positive experience.

For the price, the service level is just not there, nor is the room cleanliness. There was black mold in the shower, spider webs and dust on shelves.

A beautiful hotel in PEC and close by to wineries, fantastic restaurants, local cocktail bars. The property is fantastic for a girls trip weekend!

We loved this cute funky little hotel. It is apart of the “Drake Devonshire” but it is up the street on its own, more quaint and quiet, and is seriously dog friendly! When we checked in our room was equipped with 2 dog bowls and a cute pack of treats for him. We will certainly be back!
