In a great location. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious.

Zentrale Lage. Parken in öffentlichen Parkhäusern ringsum. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer geräumig, modern, sauber. Frühstück einfach, aber lecker.

El staff es muy amable y atento. El lugar es acogedor y bien preparado. Al rededor habían muchos lugares para comer y podiamos recorrer la ciudad caminando y esta localizado cerca de muchos lugares interesantes y del transporte público. Nos gusto mucho, regresariamos.

Fint hotel til pengene. Meget centralt placeret i den gamle bydel, som var vigtigt for os. Værelset var super og der var pænt og rent. Vi havde begrænset kontakt med receptionen, men de var venlige. Hotellet ligger ovenpå/i forbindelse med en restaurant og det er et spøjst/sjovt sted ift. udsmykning, dekoration osv., men stadig et rigtig fint sted.

Service de faible qualité : longue attente, mal-organisation, Petit déjeuner médiocre.

Extremely nice and accommodating staff, great location. Hotel is on the top of so called “ American” restaurant. A lot of bars around so it is extremely noisy. We were not able to fall asleep until 2am. Definitely not the place for families with kids.

Bonjour, Nous avions reservé deux chambres, une au 1etage et une au 3eme étage. Nous avions tous les deux été reveillés par le bruit INFERNAL du personel de nettoyage a 5h du matin : c'est inacceptable

Lobby service is minimal. But friendly and helpful.

Very quiet, although connected to restaurant, not really part of restaurant. Funny, pictures of the Grand Canyon in elevator. Guess geography of Arizona part of hotel California.

Not the best stay, overall. The key system is cumbersome, there was no air conditioning for a stuffy room. Noisy on account of construction outside. Not enough towels.

This hotel needs some work

Enjoyed the property but they charged me a second time for the stay (Expedia had already collected payment even though Expedia said that the hotel should collect) and the hotel refunded the amount they collected but the refund didn’t equal the amount withdrawn due to currency valuations. Bad Expedia for not doing what they said they were going to do. Bad hotel for not making the transaction equal.

Hotel is a bit dated & only one key per room. Room was big and clean but the sofa bed for third person was hard as a rock. Staff aren’t always around so you have to call them. They are attentive. Hotel is conveniently located.

Hotel California was a nice hotel, lovely room, great bed though it would be nice to have more than one pillow per person. Great location in the old town and very walkable to everything. The staff was very friendly and very helpful but the only drawback is that if you have a car and need to load or unload your luggage, there is some controversy over how long you can stay. We were told if we gave them our license number they would get a special permit for us to remain there for up to 1/2 hour, but the receptionist in the morning didn't know anything about this and it took several employees to put their heads together to do this. Meanwhile, a delivery person was very angry that we were parked in "his space" even though it was long after deliveries were supposed to arrive. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, the breakfasts were good and plentiful and again, the staff was really nice and really made an effort to help us. Speaking English was a challenge for some of the staff but they spoke much better english than I spoke German. Zurich is wunderbar!

We did not know what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. The rooms were large and well appointed, and the location is superb.
