Very nice and tidy.

Quiet area, back from the street, close to town centre and City Park. Good communication when I had trouble finding the isolator switch for the hotplates.

CBD Apartments Launceston. I don’t normally write bad reviews, but when some place boasts 4.5/5 and it doesn’t come close, I had to warn others. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The advertising both written and photographic overstates what is provided. The only positive was the hot water. There was no coffee table just a big empty space. No alarm clock or iPod dock. The check-in email mentioned a compendium with maps, etc, there was none. There was a remote and manual for a stand alone heater for the bedroom, no heater though which means it was freezing at night. They highlighted soundproof windows but you could hear a mouse fart in the room next door. The front door also rattled in the wind, we had to shove cardboard in it to stop it. You are only sent info on the car park on check in. Our hire car would not fit without risking damage. The worst part was hygiene. There were dirty cups in the cupboard, and dirt on the desk. The washing machine smelt strongly of mould and saving the worst for last which was the sofa bed. The photos speak for themselves. We had to buy a cover just to sit down. The stains were revolting. We tried to contact management the day after check in. The phone is rarely answered and does not accept messages. The email address provided returns a bounce back as it is full. Even the virtual messaging doesn’t work so you couldn’t cancel or request a refund.

Had a great time

Liked the big bedroom and lounge room. Lounge not very comfortable but had mostly everything you needed in kitchen. A bigger pot and more than one would be more useful though. Bathroom great, big shower head. Launceston in May minimum 6C need more than a light weight doona on bed. Should have been blanket in cupboard and there wasn’t. First night cold had to wear clothes to bed and leave heating on all night the second.

I had amazing stay at this unit ! Started from absolutely wonderful Freindly host Alex who accomodate my last minute request to check in earlier to a very pleasant stay in Launceston . Central cbd location with Free on site ( right at your door ) parking , modern freshly renovated bathroom , kitchen , bedroom! Comfortable bed , warm unit wirh basically everything you need for your stay ! I highly recommend to stay here !

Property in great location, off free street parking. Unit in reasonable condition, bathroom and shower excellent. Kitchen and stove ok, but ciuld do with a deep clean and crockery/cutlery upgrade. Some issues with communication with owners, however overall reasonable 4 night stay in very close proximity to city centre and park area.

Nice to have an undercover parking space, easy walk to Launceston CBD. Room was clean and spacious. They emailed the day before the booking with a request for credit card details to be given over the phone for security purposes. Door code was sent after that.

The unit was clean and has good amenities.

The property itself was excellent. However, I arrived late around 7:30pm and I rang the number provided to gain access (no front desk onsite) but there was no answer. I sent multiple SMS and called again several times until I realized I had to find another place to stay, because I couldn’t get in to the property. So I had to pay twice for one night! I had already paid Lastminute in full for 2 nights. The following day I managed to contact the property manager and explained what had happened. Although they were sympathetic they did not offer a credit even though I had prepaid. This is very poor customer service and could have been avoided if the property manager has called me on the day of my arrival and asked when I planned to arrive. This is typical when a property doesn’t have a front desk.
