Rating & Review Keseluruhan Hotel Chaco

Check in staff was amazing. Really relaxed hotel environment. My room was somewhat clean. The bathroom was dirty (toilet area) lh side and the shower smelled. Water didn’t run out of the faucets (buildup). Paying over $150 a night I’d expect a clean stay with working facilities. No spot for parking (construction) and weird guests from the area walking through and in the hotel area. Last time I will ever boo with this hotel. I really didn’t like that they don’t have security by the elevators for the key scanning, during my stay a lot of people were jumping onto the elevators without it at the pool area.

Location was great and I thought the room was very clean. Staff were super friendly. Only wish they had breakfast on site at the hotel on the weekdays.

AC went out day one and was never resolved. Night before we checked out we asked about it and they said it was fixed but I guess not our room. Love the hotel but this was disappointing.

Everyone was friendly from the valet, front desk & room service. Our stay was made memorable by the kindness displayed in them honoring our 28th Wedding Anniversary with a handwritten note, bottle of wine & vouchers for breakfast. Room was perfect!

Excellent staff Heidi on reception and Johnny the valet especially. A good location and great facilities, particularly the pool and gym. Valet parking works well despite the current roadwork and Sawmill Market across the way is good as an alternative to hotel food. Only gripes, room service only option for breakfast - with no dining table in the actual room so you both sit at the desk facing the wall to eat. More seriously, the shower is very slippery, having raised the issue after a fall, a mat mysteriously appeared. Why not put a simple warning sticker on the screen!…especially after we were told on checking out that other guests had raised the same concern…

The property was nice, clean, but area around is under construction so looks messy at the moment. Hopefully once the work is complete it will be much better.

Beautiful ambience and Southwestern vibe. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - food and staff both. Street outside the hotel made it hard to park in their lot, 'm assuming the city will complete their work soon. Easy walk to the Museum of Art and Old Town.

Bathroom does not have a ventilation fan, even a motel in rural Arkansas has a bathroom vent. The bathroom faucet is so close to the sink that you can’t even simply wash your hand, and the drainage is not good. They just thought about how it should look, ignored whether it would work. When outside is cooking, the room smells like bbq smoke, deep fried oil, you name it….. Although the design is mimicking the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, the actual functionality is a joke. If the priors are art, this Chaco is a kitsch.

Outstanding hotel. The best Hotel I have ever stayed at in Albuquerque. Will return to Hotel Chaco for sure.
