It was a wonderful surprise. The staff was super attentive and helpful. I upgraded my room when we arrived to a king size bed. Very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean. It’s a lively, out of the way hotel. I’d definitely recommend it.

This property is exceptional. The room was clean and very comfortable. The Staff is where this hotel excels. They are knowledgable, friendly, and SO accommodating. The location is great for a quick bus ride to many attractions and downtown Edinburgh.

This was by far the best room we stayed in during our entire Scotland trip! It's a bit far and difficult to access Edinburgh if you don't have a car, we went to a car park half way there, and ubered into town. (I don't like driving in downtown Edinburgh, the pedestrians are crazy!) The restaurant is best for breakfast. It was calm and quiet. But the stairs! No elevator, so beware!

Overall, it was a fine experience to stay over in the Craige. Thank you all.

Flashing light on ceiling is awful, bring an eye mask. Why don’t they just put a room service menu in the room? Hotel smells strongly of glade plug ins, gave me a headache. Bath looked a bit mouldy. Room service food not nice.

We enjoyed our 2 night break here. The room was small but good. Bed was quite small but comfortable. Heating was good and the room heated up quickly. One negative was that we could hear room 16 using their toilet and running taps. Not good thing to be woken upto in the middle of the night. Bathroom had some mould and a woodlouse. The view from room 15 is local residential area bins.... not fab but thankfully it was not noisy. Food was great, especially the breakfast. Friendly staff. Dinner menu somewhat basic and not much choice but the fish and chips were tasty.

The Craigie was our second hotel on our trip to Scotland. An amazing small hotel, only 16 rooms. Our room was plenty big enough for us and very well decorated, and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was was clean and had a good bath and shower. The food was something else. Very high quality and the full Scottish breakfast was enough to last me all day. The fact that locals come to wine and dine there, I think also speaks for the quality. Staff were all polite and friendly. Would we go back, yes we would.
