In the heart of the old town. Very traditional. Used the big tub several times. Wonderful!

The property was clean and located in an excellent area. It had access to many local temples and shrines, as well as, dining options.

Perfect location. Very clean. Just a little difficult to find ;) Very friendly and professional check in staff. …one minor improvement; maybe have some tea and coffee available in the Machiya for the amount of nights stayed.

Right in the heart of Gion, we couldn’t ask for a better location. 5 -10 mins from Kiyomizu Dera. Lovely traditional home very comfy and an overall great experience

We loved the Kiyomizu Machiya Inn. A Memorable stop on our family adventure. It is on a quiet side street in the middle of the famous Kiyomizu Dara area. There was plenty of Shopping / Dining a few yards from our door. As a photographer it allowed me to walk out our door late at night and photograph this amazing neighborhood after the many tourists had left.
