Shower handle broke numerous times. Room 410. Not much interaction with staff - only at check in and check out.

Cleanliness and breakfast

Located close to Albury railway station, the Mantra is an ideal place to stay if you're breaking the long rail journey from Melbourne to Sydney, as we were. The hotel has all the features needed and the rooms are quite spacious for the price. Staff are very helpful.

Generous size room, close to CBD Parking atrocious unless you want to pay an extra $20 for their carpark, wasn’t impressed with the room when you think of the cost to stay there, TV took over 5 mins to warm up and then the channel reception was very poor, I still had rubbish in my bin from the previous guest, I wasn’t very happy, I’ve stayed in far nicer more accomodating places that charge a lot less than this place.

Very overpriced. Rooms are poorly fitted out and staff are not very helpful. Many other options in the area that offer better pricing and service

Great location and sports a modern and comfortable fit out, but the common areas are starting to look a little worn/tired. We also had to wait a while to check in (there was a second person on reception, but they seemed to be pretending to be busy once they'd finished checking someone in to avoid having to serve us).

Wouldn’t recommend.

Not the best stay I’ve had here. No car parking available on site, not a great room, phone in room not working, room service breakfast did not turn up until called the hotel directly (as internal phone not working), charged twice as first booking cancelled with no refund. Think I’ll stay somewhere else in future

Terrible Place to stay.Very noisy air conditioning was hot and stuffy in the rooms.The whole building smelled horrible.Looked like they done next to no maintenance marks all over the walls,windows where dirty air conditioner the walls and surfaces dust everywhere that was old and very thick.Toilet seat was broken and hanging off.Half a toilet roll in the toilet.Beds where lumpy and caused partner disturbance.Tiny outdated TVs with no modern connections no apple play no screen mirror casting had a google Chromecast that didn't even work.There free wifi was unsecure had no password anyone could join it..If I listed all the problems with the rooms It would be a long list I had to force my self to try not see more problems everywhere I looked I was shocked on how poor the rooms where .At the prices per night and what you got was well a complete rip off.Had problems with multiple rooms had to move 3 times and still every one of those rooms the same problem,so don't think getting the best room will get you a better stay and better quality .The staff where un trained and un professional and had poor communication skills.As for location your right next to a carpark and other shopping building etc.A lot off traffic coming and going and outside it smelled like a toilet no wonder the inside of the building actually smelled like poo I can't imagine how bad it would smell on hotter days.I wish I had taken photos to upload here to show how bad the rooms where.This is an honest true review

Clean room. Needed to give first names to confirm 2 rooms booked even though rooms are in the same surname. Basic fridge with little in it. Bar closed early. Not worthy of the rating provided on the booking site

Good hotel but overpriced. My room was dark and with a great view of the cars coming out of the parking garage next door, but I paid a premium price for it.
