All Good at Sri Oskar Palace. Since it was not high season My Aircon no-river view was complementarily upgraded, to A Riverview room complete with a great shared balcony. They were really good at getting me from and back to the airport with the taxi service. My only issue, and it is not the fault of the hotel, was the aggressive monkeys. They would come onto the balcony and at first, be cute. I made the mistake of letting one sip some beer I poured for it on the top of the wall. It made a great Social Media post, but the next day, two monkeys joined me up on the balcony, and I didn’t have any beer!! They were not happy and acted out towards me… I Didn’t feel totally safe up there after that… Don’t give ANYTHING to the monkeys! Have breakfast away from the edge on the rooftop, because monkeys jumped on our tables and made a mess and broke glasses all over the floor…

This is a remarkable ancient city in India. The closest road is a 15 minute walk, so be prepared to carry your bags through very narrow alleys. Enjoy the experience that India has to offer.

Relación precio calidad excelente!!! Esta muy bien situado si quieres estar cerca de los ghats..... Una zona completamente tradicional de varanesi (hay zonas más nuevas, depende de cada viajero). El restaurante del hotel excelente!!! Son muy amables y accesibles para el check-in y el check-out

Property is in an excellent location. The staff is helpful and arranged tours with great guides. They facilitated transportation services and even carried our luggage the 15 minutes it took to get to automobile roads. The property was dirty. Our first room had ants in the bed and the AC did not work. They were gracious enough to move us to a new room with working AC. But the room was just as dirty. The walkway to the hotel was littered with trash. But the location to the Ghat area was perfect. As a side note this was an all male staff.

ガンジスが一望できる部屋の場所。 基本的に清潔だが、風呂とトイレは分かれていない。 蚊が多い(ガンジスの近くだから仕方ない)。 夜中は門が閉まって出歩けません。 親切で日本語が流暢なホテルスタッフさんがボート、レストラン、マッサージなど色々と案内してくれますが、割高な店も多いのでついていくなら買う買わないは都度冷静に判断すべし。 近くに日本人溜まり場があって、交流できます。

The staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is great, although the rooms aren't the nicest; however, they are acceptable. I appreciated receiving an upgrade on my second night just because they were being generous. Be sure to request an airport pickup, as it would have been really difficult to find the place on my own.

フロントスタッフ、親しみやすい屋上のレストランスタッフ、ほか皆さん親切に接していただき快適な滞在ができました。 施設設備などに対して価格は高い気がしますが、ソフト面で補ってくれています。 お湯が出たり出なかったりだったのは残念ですが。 場所はガンジス川に近く便利ですが、最初にここまで来る時は細い路地を歩き、なかなか辿り着くのに時間がかかります。 Googleマップがあればなんとかなるとは思います。 新市街にあるような高級宿ではありませんが、ガンジス川近くの宿としてはおすすめできると思います。

日本語をペラペラ喋るスタッフがいますが要注意！とにかくガイドをしたがりお金を要求してきます。 そして、自分が経営しているというお土産にも連れていきボッタクリます。 ホテルの位置は分かりにくく、タクシーも入っていけません。 タクシー降りて30分以上歩きます。 ガンジス川へは歩いてすぐです。

Property is a challenge to get to. Cobblestone lanes very overcrowded and dirty neighborhood. When leaving property had 2 porters carry our bags out and we tipped them 500 rupees. Well worth it. Loved our veranda overlooking the Ganges until the monkeys show up at dusk and dawn. The food in the restaurant was the best butter chicken we have ever had. Monkey stole my banana from me the first morning. Definitely an authentic Indian experience. When leaving the hotel we got talked into going to a silk showroom. Would have been better if you go on first day of stay if you plan on purchasing custom wear. The route to the silk showroom was a maze and claustrophobic for Canadian standards. So many people squished together. Way out of our comfort zone. We definitely collected good stories from this stay.

Staffs are very nice. It is hard to find the place. If you want to close to Ganges river, it is good place to stay. But transportation is not easy.

Highly recommended. Very close to river and many rooms have river view facilities. Hotel staffs are very well behaved and cooperative. Only problem is the location. It’s hard to find the location for the first timer. But the hotel will send one staff to guide you if you call them. Foods are very good. Overall we all were very satisfied.

Fantastic location overlooking the Ghats. Property was not good value for money ( but we were there during Dev Divali ) .

The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. It is situated in a prime location along the Ganges, offering excellent views of the river from the sit-out dining area. The hotel staff were incredibly considerate and moved us to a river-view room on the second day. We also had a qualified guide who was very patient and helpful in taking us around the city. However, accessing the hotel can be a bit challenging as there is no direct approach. But that’s also part of the charm of Varanasi—you get to immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere every day.

Nice cozy place and close to all worship place. Staff is very affectionate, caring and helping ! Neeraj Singh is excellent person as a guide and friend.

The biggest advantage of the property is its proximity to one of the ghats of Benaras. The rooms are worn out and access to hotel is tricky (no direct road access). Its a decent option to crash on a budget travel but the rent is not so budget friendly

When I was waiting check-in, town guide came. He was not good.

They were doing construction and downgraded us to a shitier room with no refund. They were working all day and making alott of noise. The hotel is a construction site, most of the rooms were torn down and there was rubble evrywhere. They also stole 100$ out of my laundry and the room was dirty and full of mousquitos. In do not recomend staying here.

Non fatevi incantare dalle foto: la struttura fa veramente schifo. Stanze sporchissime, terriibilmente maleodoranti e ben lontane dagli standard dichiarati nei siti di prenotazione. Noi avevamo prenotato una suite con terrazza vista Gange, i 20 mq dichiarati non erano nemmeno la metà. Lenzuola sporche, animali (insetti e topi), bagno con cavi elettrici penzolanti e isolati solo con lo scotch avana, il bagno un buco schifoso con un secchio per fare la doccia, la terrazza privata in realtà è una veranda lercia in comune con altre stanze e l'accesso è da una porticina con chiavistelli. Il ristorante sul roof vergognoso e per arrivarci devi fare delle scale con tubature sul soffitto che perdono acqua a cascata. Avevamo prenotato 2 notti, ma siamo scappate alle 6 del mattino dopo la prima, ciò nonostante la struttura ha mandato una falsa ricevuta che attestava che avevamo fatto il check in regolarmente dopo una fantomatica seconda notte. Fortunatamente l'assistenza di Expedia (un plauso al servizio di supporto offerto su tutta la vacanza) è riuscita a farci avere il rimborso. Un'ultima cosa: la struttura non è accessibile per le auto. Il taxi vi lascia sulla strada e poi dovete camminare nei vicoli strettissimi per circa 10 min, anche se è vero che l'hotel manda due uomini a portarvi i bagagli. Struttura da evitare assolutamente.
