Overall okay

Good location; helpful staff at check in and a very comfortable mattress - no noise from the building nor the road.

Nice sized room, quiet. Very clean, as was the public parts of the hotel. (The woman running the breakfast section was wiping off table as guests finished eating-I don’t believe I’ve seen that at any other place I’ve stayed.). I requested accommodations due to trouble walking, my room was across the elevator which was so helpful. Breakfast had a variety of foods. Fantastic place, I would stay here again!

Good hotel for one night on our Canadian road trip

Staff on check-in was not on her game, front line staff needs to be on their game 100% all the time. They can make or break the next visit. Room was very nice. Clean under the sheet throw skirting that’s always tell tale sign for cleanliness by staff. The awesome shower head needs its annual dunking in acid to clean the mineral and iron so it can cycle properly. The ac/the unit needs cleaned as most all do. I cleaned the filter element as it’s a slam dunk job of 3 minutes and needs done monthly not yearly or more. Pics to show the mess within it. Breakfast was very good. Better than we have had in 5 plus yrs guaranteed. Parking is good. Close to other places for a bite etc. Will return but hope the front counter staff are on their game. Attitude says a lot and takes a lot away to with nothing said.

I had a very pleasant stay at Lakeview Inn & Suites in Brandon and would happily stay here again. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who made check-in quick and straightforward. The hotel is located towards the edge of Brandon, but as the city is relatively compact, everywhere I needed to go was only a short drive away. Its location just off the Trans-Canada Highway also makes it an excellent base for travellers passing through Manitoba or exploring the surrounding area. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the décor is not the most modern or recently updated, it provided exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Parking appeared somewhat limited at first glance, but I had no difficulty finding a free parking space at any point during my stay. There was a surprisingly good selection available for breakfast, including eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns, waffles, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and tea. My only criticism is the reliance on disposable plates and cutlery, which feels less environmentally friendly than reusable alternatives. Overall, Lakeview Inn & Suites offers excellent value for money, friendly service, clean and comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location for both Brandon and onward travel. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in Brandon without paying premium hotel prices, this is a solid choice.
