Renovated traditional Japanese house, located near Gion. 24 hours supermarket within 50 steps, coin laundry within 30 steps. Very convenient for site seeing Only improvement I would recommend is better (and brighter) lighting Will recommend to other travelers

Beautiful traditional machiya very close to transit and walkable to many places. Laundry on the corner and grocery around the block. The stairs to the second floor were quite steep and the first floor could have used some more furniture, but really no real complaints

My family and I loved this property. It is in an excellent location and the property itself is beautiful.

施設はとても綺麗で町家の情緒が味わえました。 宿泊した時が凄い寒波と重なったため、暖房入れてても寒かったので、また暖かい季節に訪れたいですね。

More comments Trip@dvisor - "Kyoto Resident Experience" - December 2024. Roomy for our family of four adults; manager was very responsive to our requests; neighborhood offers nice dining and shopping, including a useful grocery store around the corner. Higashiyama subway station is very close, and Gion is a leisurely walk south.
