Inn and area beautiful. The staff was so very kind. Cant wait to return for next vaca in Ocean Grove. Everything in close proximity to the Inn. My girls loved it.

We recently stayed at The Inn at Ocean Grove and, while the location is undeniably ideal—just steps from the beach and within walking distance to everything—the overall experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the cost. We understand that the house is older and appreciate its historic charm, but that shouldn’t mean the infrastructure is outdated. We were told not to use a blow dryer at the same time as the air conditioner—an inconvenience that speaks to a lack of necessary upgrades. For the price point, reliable electricity should be a basic standard. One of the most frustrating issues was the gap in the bedroom door. The top hinge was detached from the door frame, leaving a visible crack that let light pour in from the hallway—and worse, created a lack of privacy. You could actually see directly into the room from the hallway. I ended up stuffing a towel into the gap just to feel comfortable enough to sleep. After reading previous reviews, it’s clear this is not a new issue, yet nothing has been done to fix it. Another letdown was the lack of housekeeping or maid service. At no point were we told this wouldn’t be provided, and had we known in advance, we would have reached out to the innkeeper to clarify expectations. The lack of communication was disappointing. In the end, while the location is the inn’s strongest asset, it’s not enough to outweigh the unresolved issues, lack of modern comfort, and poor communication.

Nice location, very nicely decorated breakfast smelled great although I didn’t have a chance to eat it. BLOWDRYERE R A NO-NO. Any appliance or hair appliance that draws a lot of power is not recommended at all. Keep in mind is a 100 year old home . If you need these items, I suggest finding them wireless, battery operated or something that does not require you to plug-in because it’s a $100 service fee every time they have to come out and reset the breaker. They are not allowed to show guests where the breaker box is so no way around that fee. I was not charged this fee, but they were very clear about it upon check-in. Overall great time. For the price in that area you can’t beat it.

The Inn is an interesting experience. We were on the 4th floor. Room was clean and nice. No real issues. We slept there one night while going to a concert. Inn keeper was great and accommodating.

The property is old, but clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Ashley checked us in quickly, took us to our room, showed us around and let us know if we had any questions or needed anything. The breakfast was great, coffee, tea and water available all day and night.

We stayed just one night for an early morning soccer tournament in the area. Ashley, the hostess of the Inn was amazing. Very nice, very knowledgeable and very approachable. The sleeping conditions fit my family and the easy close walk to the beautiful beach was perfect. We even had beach chairs available to use. I recommend!

The room was old, dirty and aircon very loud-also from the other rooms. Bathroom was dirty as well.
