Excellent stay - the staff were lovely, great breakfast and a clean, light and airy room. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent. Overall, highly recommended

Old cannon nicely situated on the edge of Bury & easily walkable. B & B has small menu with specials which is just right. Friendly staff & great beer & big seated area out back. Great for bbqs & events. Will differently be back. It will not disappoint.

Stayed overnight before a business meeting. It was ideally located , just walking distance to town centre and easy to get to by car. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental and cooked breakfast available .

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast hotel with comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and tasty beer! Staff is helpful and friendly. We participated in a fun quiz night on Wednesday evening. Also had a great meal for a small family gathering in the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel.

Have stayed here many times when visiting to see a show at the Apex 10 minutes walk away Staff are friendly, breakfast is tasty and generous. Beer brewed on the premises is also very good. Hannah is very hard working and ensures a good stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, food (and beer) very good and staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was parking - no parking in the immediate vicinity so we were advised to use a public car park over 10 mins walk away. When we got there we found that although the car could stay there overnight, we would have to return the next day at 8am to get another day ticket (there was the option of downloading an App etc, which we decided was too much of a faff!). Then of course we would have to carry our luggage back to the car or drive it back to the Old Cannon when we left. It's a shame cos everything else was just fine.

A fabulous bed and breakfast in a wonderful pub. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. A short walk into the town centre but in a quiet road.

Lovely place to stay. Great staff. Food is good. Beer is brewed on site, of course, and worth trying a few different ones. So far as the room was concerned, the carpet tiles are looking a little sad and the bed was a little hard, but it was clean and the shower was good.

Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive and happy to help. Breakfast menu had a good choice, I chose a full English, which was lovely. Great choice of beers at the bar, at least six of which are brewed in house. Wonderful. Only stayed one night should have been two just to taste those beers.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Everything was great. Evening meal was well presented and very tasty. Only slight negative, the mattress felt sprung and not very comfy. But it didn't spoil my stay.

The staff were great and evening meal and breakfast we had were lovely but our bedroom was quite dirty, dirty skirting boards and floor, the bedding and towels were nice and clean though and so was the bathroom.

Our stay was lovely , room clean and tidy and couldn’t fault the food! This was our second stay and I’m sure there will be a third!
