Luftkonditioneringen var bra och det fanns en välskött mysig trädgård med små buddastatyer, speglar och tavlor lite överallt. Ett litet pool område fanns också och det gick att beställa mat och dryck dit. Det fanns en utgång direkt till Arambol beach från hotellet vilket vi uppskattade. I den stora byggnaden var det bra storlek på rummen, de hade även kylskåp och liten balkong eller uteplats. Tar man inte poolview så ser man bara in i en mur (Ground floor) alt annat hus (First floor). Det saknades bänk för resväska och var lite olika utformning på garderoben beroende på rum. Sängarna var nerlegade och man kände fjädringen. Lakanen var tvättade men fläckiga. Rumet på bottenvåningen luktade fuktskadat. Vi bodde även i en av stugorna, den var liten och charmig och sängen i bättre skick än i den stora byggnaden. Det fanns inget kylskåp (fick lämna medicin i kylskåpet som stod i receptionen) och endast takdush samt hink och kanna. Det var många indiska sällskap som bodde på hotellet.

Updated review of revisit in 2023 August: If you want to be invited by the cockroaches nibbling on your toothbrush when you arrive at night book here. You can call room service and a boy will come and literally catch the cockroaches in hand and you can enjoy watching him chase catch have the taste of the sweet sound of its head getting crushed with his bare fingers. The whole place is covered in some plastic polythene cover. Such a filthy place. I will never book this place again. Nothing has improved if anything the population of cockroaches have improved a lot. Even Indian railways are better comparatively. Watch my photos of cockroaches if you dont believe me!

I’ve stayed here a few times. Before Covid and after. Before Covid it was a lovely relaxed place where I could Enjoy the beach, meditate and relax. On my most recent trip I found this place to have changed dramatically. I don’t know if it’s new owners or what. But the music is so loud and goes on well past 11 when they told me it was going to Stop. People are allowed to be as loud as they like. The staff say nothing to them. I was so tired. I slept well one night of my 5 night stay. I will Never stay here again and if you are looking for a place to relax I wouldn’t stay here.

Nice and courteous staff. Right on the Arambol beachfront but it is almost the northern end of Goa, which makes commuting to tourist spots more expensive.

The room was poorly maintained especially the bathroom. There was an ant colony inside a chair on the balcony. The wifi kept on disconnecting as for the water in the faucets.

Lotus Sutra is a peaceful garden oasis near the beach in Arambol, India. Our little cabin faced the Arabian Sea and a lovely green garden. The cabin was small but nice and cleaned when we requested. The rest were good quality The reception and manager Veena were outstanding. The room service from on-site Zen Oasis was excellent.
