Clean rooms. Our room has beautiful views. Breakfast was a bit ho-hum, but not unexpected given the restaurant was getting a makeover and was closed for a while. New owner seems very keen

Great accommodation. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms with comfy beds. Tasty continental breakfast available when it suits you. Useful parking and good location. Nice bar with friendly locals, restaurant not reopened yet but plenty of food options a short drive away. New owners just taken over so it'll probably get even better as they update more rooms and expand their offering. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely big room and cool too with the current heat wave, everything you need and shower was good too and room was clean Comfy bed and we slept so well and very peaceful during the night coukdnt hear no traffic and we had the window open Breakfast was help yourself to cereals, croissants, yogurts and fresh juice at the bottom of the stairs and we enjoyed this. Owner was lovely and showed us to our room he hasn’t long taken over and is doing a good job Yes the hotel is under renovation and when done will look good This hotel is ideal for anyone who is getting the ferry or just like us over the weekend Restaurants and takeaways a short drive away Will definitely be staying again when we are come for a weekend away to Anglesey

Quiet room bed comfortable.

If Hotels.com kept in touch with the hotels they advertise they would have known that for 3-4 years there had been no food server at this hotel, Does not accept guests till 4 pm not 3 pm The breakfast was cereal boxes, bunches of bananas and a fridge with milk, orange and apple juice and croissants at the bottom of the stairs on a table in the hallway. The establishment changed hands that day, so the new guy showed us to our rooms, but because it’s a little far out it would have been great to get a bite to eat there instead of running backwards and forwards, Also most of the places serving food last orders are 8 p,

The Anchorage is on a fairly quiet road between Valley and Treaddur Bay with a lovely view from the front windows. The owners have only just taken over and appear to be refurbishing the property. We were in the annex which was very clean and comfortable, if a little tired, (although it is probably going to have a glow up soon), with coffee and tea making facilities and continental breakfast available to collect from downstairs. There is also a fridge with milk, juice and yogurts to help yourself to. Neil, the new owner was very friendly and helpful and we called in the bar later, which is very nicely furnished and has a decent choice of drinks. Parking is at the rear of the property with plenty of spaces. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Anglesey.

Lovely room with good sea view.Anchorage is in the middle of a change over but no one there when I arrived and a note one the door for me said what the door code was and which room. Anyone could have used it. No soap in bathroom. Breakfast had to be in room. In morning staff were friendly. Parking OK .

No restaurant at the hotel

Property was changing ownership on the day we arrived and was being renovated which meant the kitchen was closed. Staff were very helpful in suggestion alternatives The hotel is a bit out of town so a car is essential to see the area.

I wish we could have given more stars on this hotel because the rooms were actually very clean and lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately we were told we could check in at 3pm but when we got to the hotel, there was a sign on the door to say reception was closed until 4pm and we were given a number to call if assistance was required. We called the number several times and it went to voicemail. Luckily I have family that live just down the road so we weren’t stuck with nowhere to go. It turns out, after speaking to another guest, that the hotel was changing owners that day and the new owners didn’t arrive until 4pm. This is all well and good but it would have been nice for their customers to have been informed of this as I had a 3 year old with me that has just travelled 8 hours in the car from Dover. Due to the change over, the bar and restaurant was also closed, again this is something we were not made aware of. Overall that side of things were a little disappointing for us but I would say it was very clean and the chamber maid we met was so lovely and helpful with our little boy! I would return to the hotel and give the new owners the benefit of the doubt as this may not have been their fault.

Parking was easy with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. 👍

Bar was great

Perfect for an overnight as we hopped off the ferry before a train ride the following day. Very comfortable, great amenities and a lovely scenic view of the coast and countryside

Apparently been up for sale for a couple of years and quite run down with limited facilities - no food - bar seemed to offer what was left. I hope new owners bring it back to the lovely place it used to be

Friendly staff, wonderful pub, but the restaurant is currently closed. The continental breakfast is also a bit wanting. My biggest problem was the office doesn't open until 9.30 AM, which maded it difficult to get a taxi. Overall a good place to stay.

Good parking and good bar

Lovely stay. Very comfortable, homely, large clean room. Vey Pleasant helpful staff/owner. Easy to check in & out. Nice added extras, that I wasn’t expecting like fresh milk & biscuits in the room. Seaside so close by. Nice breakfast to help yourself to, so I would love to return.

No bar no restaurant breakfast inarea under stairs and you have to take it to your room to eat. Loads of free parking staff friendly and very helpful. This hotel has just been sold and until the new owner gets it up and running as a proper hotel again I would not stay there again
