Lovely staff, great breakfast. Room was perfect along with the amenities.

Price, room was always cold, Water was cold. In house restaurant had very poor choice. In general, very poor hotel for price, certainly woundnt stay again

Good location, apartment for a family was on the small side but we managed ok. Hot water system was impossible to regulate, other than that it was a pleasant stay.

I was excited to be staying at Peppers for a weekend. Things started poorly as at check in they couldn’t take a digital card - surprising in 2025. Then they informed us that room cards are 20 dollars if lost - a lot for a piece of cardboard … ok but not what any other hotel does. Then they gave us our room (see pic). A “deluxe” room with not a foot clearance around the queen bed - not enough room for a suitcase. Personally, I find this deceptive conduct when you compare it to the deluxe room pictures on their ads. Bait and switch. Fortunately we were looking forward to the hot pool in the building which is the number 1 reason we booked the room. It was ‘Closed for maintenance’ and they were not fixing it on a weekend … better to inconvenience guests than spend a little extra to do maintenance on a weekend I guess. Overall the experience was unnecessarily disappointing and I would certainly stay at other places that offer more for the same price.

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is in good walkable distance from Southbank/Crown area and has a tram stop out the front. Supermarket very close by. Unfortunately, pre-stay communication was poor and check-in was very lengthy.

The accommodation was excellent, separate lounge, kitchen/dining areas with one bedroom and bathroom. All at a very reasonable price and in an excellent location.

On arrival the entrance was not what I expected for a hotel entrance then the reception guy was on the phone dealing with another customer so had to wait some time to check in despite there being more staff on the bar next to the reception not serving anyone then another person arrived to check us in and they did say we had been upgraded from our original booking however we had a two bedroom apartment rather then the one bedroom I had booked but we were on the corner of a very busy intersection roadway and opposite a tram line with the motorway visible and at room height so not sure it was an upgrade the swimming pool Was not what I had expected but the pictures don’t show the traffic noise BUT on the positive a very good chap called Robbie who was not a regular worker at this hotel was very helpful when I couldn’t order a delivery pizza from my phone he help by not only ordering it but he even delivered it to my room when it arrived at reception you need more Robbie’s working at the hotel

The staff were excellent. However the enclosed patio which states no smoking stank of cigarette smoke which stirred up my daughters asthma and the shower was very mouldy. Great location 3 minutes walk to the crown and Southbank breakfast was sufficient and excellent barista coffee which was additional on top of breakfast

Very happy with stay!,room clean quiet and staff very helpful! Only complaint was the room delivery for breakfast which was quite speedy but unfortunately not hot!

Located behind Crown. Easy walk to crown restaurants but a 20min walk to CBD. Room was comfortable. No storage cupboards and room space tight for suitcases. Coffee machine, washing machine and dryer provided.

On arrival there were no slippers, bottle water, bathroom amenities such as toothbrush & toothpaste, shower cap. Also called reception 4 times and no answer until the 5th call. Called up housekeeping no answer as well, I needed new towels unfortunately had to use the same ones because no one answered my calls or even returned my calls. Will explore other hotels.. thanks.

Room was clean and comfortable enough. The air conditioning is only in the living room so the bedroom was hot. The front desk staff were not very friendly upon checkout and seemed like they didn’t want to be there.

great location and would stay again only gripe is the couch is not comfortable ( so hard) so you couldn't sit and watch TV at the end of the day . Its on a main road so a tad noisy but that didn't bother us
