Die Unterkunft als Bed and Breakfest hat unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen, das Frühstück recht gut. Allerdings isi das Limes nicht einfach zu finden, wenn man mit dem Taxi kommt. Der Ort ist typisch englisch, das Innenstädtchen trubelig, enge Strassen und viel Verkehr, aber gute Möglichkeiten zum Spazierengehen am Ufer des Backwater.

The room was amazing and so comfortable. The mini fridge with drinks, tea, coffee and biscuits were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Had a lovely stay at the Limes, staff were incredibly accommodating and room was lovely. Had all the facilities we needed. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area!

I loved how unique the property was. Our room was cosy, the beds so comfy & everything we needed was provided in the room. Breakfast was delicious & having the option of takeaway pizza to our room on the night of arrival was brilliant. Thank you.

Lovely room, clean, upmarket feel. Check in easy & bags taken to room for us. Staff helpful. Felt the breakfast was overpriced (not booked at time of booking room- ? option given when booking). Full English breakfast was quite greasy. Tad tight on parking. Overall a good place to stay.

Excellent stay, I’ve given 4 star as there was no air conditioning or powerful fan in the room and in this heat the room was so hot

Small hotel but parking very tight. Room was compact but comfortable although not enough sockets / areas to charge phone & watch etc.

Loved the four poster bed. Room very comfortable and excellent shower. Great breakfast choices. Accommodation very convenient for town centre. Will stay again

This peoperty was good overall and the staff were nice. We tried the breakfast and it was tasty. However, the cleanliness was not spotless and could be cleaner. The room was far too dark and the colour of it could be refreshed for something lighter and brighter to make the room more cosy and less dark and dull. You could miss the entrance because the hotel is poorly signed and right on a curve. There was a nice touch with the rose petals surprise as it was our anniversary. The very high reviews are totally overrated. Other than that, OK overall.

Historical building with lots of character, convenient location next to high street. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room to ensure guests comfort. Bedding was lovely - crisp & fresh!

We had a great stay at The Limes. Friendly staff, very clean and tidy room and easy check in / out. It's unclear which rooms have a/c and only a fan so may be worth checking ahead of time.

What a beautiful hotel. Clean , tidy , spacious, friendly,comfortable… there is nothing about this property not to like. Definitely found a little gem here. Would recommend the limes 100%. The staff were amazing to tip it off 10/10

Lovely comfy bed, excellent breakfast and convenient location to walk into town or the promenade. Service was great and very friendly. Lots of nice touches like complimentary drinks and fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room.

You would be struggling to fault this establishment. Staff are helpful and friendly,the room has a real attention to detail. The only way to fault it is the odd thing shows a bit of wear and tear which is only to be expected in such nicely finished stay. ( Such as the shade on a bed side lamp where it has started to split but in such well looked after place would be replaced shortly) A must stay ,you won't be disappointed.
