Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable with a great shower. The Black Boys Hotel is a good place to stay right in the Market Square with many shops,’church at very close distance If you struggle with mobility. They have an extensive menu with very generous portions. It is also a stone throw from Blicklimg Hall, Wroxham. Holt and other places to visit near by.

We have returned to the Black Boys several times and each time we have found the team to be friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the included breakfast: a wide range of options with high quality ingredients, generous portions and all cooked to perfection. Thanks again for a fabulous stay.

The staff were all very lovely and welcoming, and the food was amazing! I had dinner and also breakfast - huge portions, freshly cooked, really good menu choices and it was all SO tasty. It felt a little pricey but I think it’s absolutely worth the money. The building is old and the window is an old fashioned sash style. It was banging constantly through the night due to the wind, and I had to wedge some paper into the frame to try and muffle the sound. There was a loud, repetitive vibrating noise from about 6am

Clean ,comfortable room. Great breakfast included in the price of stay. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Parking is a bit of an issue as the car parking is very limited. Very welcoming friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely room. Delicious food and very professional staff. Despite being very busy, we did not wait for food, which was so good. We certainly did not leave the restaurant hungry as the portion sizes were very big. We would hope to return again hopefully sometime soon.

Food was fantastic, service was wonderful and so friendly. Dont expect to get parked at busy times tho. I cannot fault this lovely old character hotel. I felt so welcome.

We stayed one night room and breakfast and it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice; the quality of the food and service was very good. We also ate dinner there and it was just as good. The bedroom was a little tired & very noisy from road traffic (it was a hot night and we needed the windows fully open!) but it didn’t stop us from sleeping. Overall a great stay.

A lovely spot, we stayed one night as we were doing a sponsored walk the next morning, we were kindly offered an earlier breakfast. The room was cosy and just what we needed. The setting was nice, we’d definitely stay again

The Inn, full of character, great breakfast, clean rooms with all ameneties you might expect or need. The Staff were brilluant and the pub customers in tge evening did not made stay unpleasant. Unfortunatelly the room we were given, wasn't in the best location. The windows were facing the court yard, where the first morning we were woken up by beer delivery being received to the celler which to our luck happened to be underneath our room (104) and the following morning by maintenance team powerwashing the pattio of the court yard. Both issues evidence of a good thriving pub. The second improvement could be done on quality of mattress and bedding. As the bed being standard double size and the floor of the room tilting (17th century building), it created perfect storm me and my other half rolling to each others side for most of the night. Also as we were not able to open the windows the room would get very warm. At the end of the stay we noticed a fan tucked in the coupboard, it would have been nice if someone would have shown it on the arrival. The brakfast choice was amazing and the portions very large. We stayed ghe to eat foe dinner. Again portion sizes ment that we both had dishes from from the starter menue. Everything was very delitious. Overall great stay. Would go back there in colder season to enjoy cossines of the place.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast.

We had a lovely double room at the front of the hotel that was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a very good shower. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows provided if we needed them. Our evening meal was delicious and excellently cooked. Breakfast was also really good in fact one of the best breakfasts i have had in a hotel for a long time. I had the Greek yoghurt with granola and fruit and honey which had lots of lovely fresh fruit in and my partner had the cooked breakfast, both were generous portions. It is a very old building and could do with a bit of a makeover in places but it was a busy hotel and seemed popular with the locals and the staff were wonderful, very attentive, polite and happy to help.

Great nights stay, our evening meal in restaurant was great and very large portions served, tasted fantastic and the breakfast next morning was just as good.
