Location, Location, location. The safest area, you are in a plaza. The moment you set foot out the hotel door, You are in the center of it all. There are chairs outside or front of the hotel that you can use and people watch, can't beat that. To the left of the hotel, goes to main market or the famous Mercado, access to cathedral. To the right, access to more restaurants. Across, access to more shopping. Melia is surrounded with everything you need, it is the most accessible hotel. Price is worth it, staff were great. We left to airport at 4pm, Salva ensures that we will leave the hotel safely, called taxi for us since it was 4am, otherwise, taxi stand is Across the hotel during the day. Variety of restautants in the area, from taco bell, McDonalds, BK, Popeye's to Japanese, Indian and Thai food, but highly recommend local/traditional Spanish foods. We went to Navarro restaurant nearby for a great paella negra, Navarro was recommended by melia staff. This hotel adds to the highlights of your trip to Valencia.

It was good in general nothing outstanding

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Muito bem localizado e confortável. Ótima cama e chuveiro. O café da manhã, porém, não vale a pena. Fica no subsolo, a sala é portanto escura e o café é sem muita variedade. Nos quartos também é um pouco barulhento, as camareiras começam logo cedo e o barulho do carrinho e conversas no corredor atrapalham. Fora isso é um hotel bastante bom

Room is clean， location is also good. However it is extremely unfriendly for driving. If you drive there, be aware you can’t reach the hotel because the hotel is located in a pedestrian zone. We drove to about 100m away from the hotel with google map. But took us 2 hours to actually get to the hotel. Also parking is about 200m away. So if you have luggage’s like us, you will need to drag you luggages all the way to garage as you can’t take your car to the hotel to load the luggages. Lots of efforts and very frustrating. The hotel should have mentioned in the description. At least give instructions in the check in section.
