Great location, staff was very helpful, very nice hotel. The only drawback was no elevator

A wonderful, perfectly located, casually elegant hotel. Classic Venetian rooms in a cozy little spot right across from the gondola filled lagoon. I loved this location because you are near the salty sea air, with the sounds of sea gulls and water, but can pop right into one of the narrow streets and inverse yourself into the labyrinth of Venice. Best of both worlds! 4 minute stroll to St. Marks Square! Thank you to Hans at the reception for helping us with everything we needed during our stay. So gracious and kind. And thank you to Maricel who made every morning bright and delicious at breakfast. I left my purse with everything important in the restaurant, and she chased me down immediately to return it. Lovely people, comfortable, quaint, and charming hotel. I would stay here again and again!

Great location on the lagoon, with a vapporetto stop 30 yards away. Have stayed there 3 times over 10 years. I don't think it's been remodeled or updated since. No lift. Rooms small. Good dinner restaurant. Disappointing breakfast. Helpful staff. Venice has gotten crazy expensive. Probably won't stay there again.

Fabulous staff-A+! Awesome balcony overlooking canal room with live saxophone player out my window every night! Big breakfast included! A/C worked great! Ideal location for everything, including boat transportation, gondola rides, St. Mark’s Square and more! Would stay again! Loved the hotel and staff!

Great location

The location is great and like many older Venice hotels the property is old! So if you can live without a huge modern bath and tight quarters, I recommend this place Location, location, location

The hotel was lovely. A heritage hotel. It was located directly across from the water transportation, and about 5-6 min walk from San Marco square. The rooms were comfortable, but the air conditioning was not turned on. There was also no elevator, but the staff brought our bags to our rooms for us. There was a restaurant attached out front, and accessible from inside the hotel. This is where we had our complementary breakfast, offering more than we expected. I would not hesitate to stay here again , or recommend this hotel to others.

Best located to visit Venice and especially San Marco. Nice and friendly Service, Room had a good size, Breakfast with a great view!

Le petit déjeûner est servi à table et comprennent des œufs durs froids que l’on n’a pas commandés et qui sont trop cuits. Naturellement, ils font partie du forfait et ne sont pas déduits si nous ne les consommons pas… Par contre l’omelette jambon-fromage est facturée 12 €! La chambre avec vue mer est très sympa et les fenêtres sont bien isolées par rapport aux bruits des touristes et bateaux….

Great location a stone's throw to St Mark's square. Awesome breakfast that gets you ready for the day. Pack light as no lift and tight stair case.

We had a small twin room but it was more than adequate for our 2 night stay. Lovely, fresh bedding and an immaculately clean modernised bathroom. We were on the third floor so quite a few steps. Adequate continental breakfast included in our price, which was okay, but nothing too special. Service at breakfast was very good. As we expected, there is a tax to pay when leaving the accommodation. It would have been helpful if we had been told beforehand that this has to be paid in cash. Otherwise you cannot fault this accommodation. Basic but clean and very handy for sight seeing.

Tutto estremamente positivo. Dalla camera con pulizia perfetta, alla gentilzza e disponibilita' del personale. Oltre, ovviamente, alla posizione strategica.

Daytime reception was very good. Overnight not so much. Front doors were locked and repeated ringing bell was useless as no person ever came.
