Amazing place to stay with family

Easy access to transport. Beautiful view and pool. Pool closes pretty early.

Cannot fault our stay here. We booked a double and a twin and were next to each other. The rooms were clean and comfortable and as soon as we went for breakfast the room was cleaned and the towels replaced. All the staff were very friendly and helpful (in particular the pool girl!). We arrived an hour early and were given our rooms straight away. The breakfast is excellent and again the two ladies that serve you are friendly. The pool area is lovely and well kept like the whole hotel. The adjoining restaurant is also excellent and handy if you don’t fancy driving out for dinner. For us the location was perfect as it was just 10 minutes to Lucca and other areas. Really feel the hotel is excellent value for money and as a family of 2 adults and two teenagers it met all our needs.

Good place to stay near Lucca with a wonderful restaurant

Beautiful hotel! The restaurant had fantastic food and the pool area was great. The breakfast left something to be desired, but everything else was perfect!

Hôtel est situé dans un environnement calme et verdoyant. Il s’agit d’une villa toscane transformée en hôtel avec plusieurs chambres par étage. Le lit est très confortable et la chambre est très propre. Le seul bémol c’est la douche qui est très étriquée, même dans une chambre supérieure!

Ottima colazione e personale attento alle varie esigenze.

Propere kamer en badkamer. Rustige en mooie omgeving. Voldoende keuze bij het ontbijt (verschillende verse broodjes en croissants).

Dejligt hotel i rolige og naturnære omgivelser ca. 7,5km fra Lucca’s bymure. Værelset indeholder alt hvad man skal bruge og sengen ligger man særdeles godt i. Poolområdet er hyggeligt og personalet på hotellet er søde, smilende og imødekommende. Morgenmaden er udemærket og kaffen er fremragende. Alt i alt et anbefalelsesværdigt hotel. I øvrigt er restauranten ved siden af hotellet fremragende og værd at besøge.

Rolig atmosfære, nem afstand til Lucca og Pisa. Fin morgenmad. Dejligt poolområde, med mulighed for at købe frisksmurte sandwich for 3 eur, samt div. drikkevarer. Kommer igen, hvis vi er i regionen!

Bella la piscina e il ristorante

Avevo già soggiornato 2 anni fa, sono tornato e tornerò. Una bellissima villa con una stupenda piscina e l'idromassaggio nel verde. Posteggio capiente e una ottima colazione. Vicino a Lucca. Personale della piscina molto disponibile e competente. Non guasterebbe un po' di intrattenimento la sera con un po' di musica. Tra i contro metto: le camere non molto insonorizzate e in particolare quella dove ho soggiornato non era del tutto pronta al mio arrivo, mancanza di shampoo e scarichi un po' lenti.

Capannori, a pochi km da Lucca, viaggio in coppia con amici. Buona struttura, buon servizio. unica pecca colazione non molto ricca.

Bellissimo hotel in Villa, alle porte di Lucca, a cui si accede tramite un viale alberato. Sistemazione in camera ottima, pulizia eccellente e letto super. Quel che risalta è la tranquillità del posto, non si sentono auto sulla strada e tutto è molto silenzioso. Buona colazione a buffet. Il personale alla reception è professionale ma soprattutto gentilissimo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Hambros. The staff, the pool, the location, the breakfast and restaurant. Guido and Stefania at the front of house went above and beyond to help us and Susan by the pool was a ray of sunshine every day and couldn’t do enough for us. If we had any type of problem or question or concern everyone was quick to be of service to us and help us out. No problem was to big and we were made to feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back again.

Nice rooms and very clean, tea and coffee not replenished in the three days of our stay. Continental breakfast was plentiful but could have done with a bit more variety.

Ottimo albergo in villa antica, reception cordiale e rapida, camera pulita e ampia, biancheria da letto di buona qualità, bollitore in camera, bagno ampio e ben dotato, asciugamani ottimi, impianti ben funzionanti. WiFi buona, colazione buona anche in tempo di Covid, servizio di check-out rapido e cordiale.

Ottima struttura ricettiva nel cuore della Lucchesia, a pochi chilometri da Lucca. Immersa in un bel parco, con un ingresso lungo un viale alberato che conduce di fronte alla Villa. Piscina a sfioro, vasca idromassaggio, docce. Una bella reception, al fianco della quale ci sono la zona per le colazioni, una sala lettura con mobili d'epoca, una palestra e poi l'accesso per le camere, che sono ben tenute, pulite, bagni un po' piccoli. Colazione standard (poca frutta), ma nel complesso adeguata. Personale professionale e gentile. Suggerita per si trova a passare o per chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza a Lucca e dintorni. Consigliato verificato.
