Great stay and location. Staff was super nice!

Villa Lara is a quiet little place about 10 minutes from the bustling downtown area of Amalfi. It has a beautiful view of the coast and of the beautiful mountains. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to sit in the mornings to enjoy some peace and the quietness of the coast. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel like you are a part of their family.

Great location. Staff were extremely helpful. Elevator from the street level to the top level which is approximately four flights of stairs up broke down on the day we were leaving and the staff had to help us carry our luggage down the exterior old stairs.

Lovely hotel on the hill close to everything in Amalfi. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent!

Our room was lovely, and the service was impeccable. Tomas was extremely helpful in helping us figure out the bus schedule and he also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast terrace was beautiful with an amazing view of Amalfi and the sea. We loved that the hotel was just far enough from the busy part of town so that it was quiet, but close enough to walk anywhere we needed to. We hope to be back in the future!

they have a nice terrace and a few rooms (we had no view in the rooftop room). parking was available from an external garage for 35 eur per night.

Beautiful location convenient to shopping and beach. The views were breathtaking! Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

The best hotel we have stayed in Italy so far. The service was amazing, the rooms clean & comfortable and the view is incredible. Quiet hotel yet really convenient for the town. Variety of breakfast choices and really enjoyed a drink in the evening over looking the town. Thoroughly recommend!!

My husband and I were blown away by this property. The staff was nice and helpful. They made dinner reservations for us. The property also has an elevator which is so so necessary if you have large luggage.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lara. The property is on a quiet hillside with a beautiful view. The staff was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed chatting with Tomas and Nello.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Lara! We were lucky enough to get the aquamarine suite which was very clean, spacious and had an amazing balcony view. The breakfast buffet was served each morning on the a balcony that also had an incredible view. Villa Lara is a nice quiet oasis tucked away from the busy square but close enough to walk to. The staff were also phenomenal and very attentive. We had forgotten our universal charger and the staff found a way to get to us at our next hotel all the way in positano!

A lovely find near port and shopping, yet so quiet with an incredible view. With only 7 rooms, it feels like you’re in someone’s own house.

Beautiful property in the center of the Amalfi. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Amenities good. Breakfast was delicious and their both terraces have a breathtaking view! Pictures from there are amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, they make you feel like a family member. Very good stay.

By far one of my favorite stays while I traveled across Italy. The people running this resort were incredibly nice and offered lots of help with transportation. They do a great job communicating with their clients and helped set up a private driver for us to get from Amalfi back to Rome

Excellent property, highly recommend it. It is in a walkable distance to the main Amalfi church, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet location. We missed to connect with the staff in advance, they can provide great recommendations to plan your trip.

Villa Lara is a truly lovely place to stay in Amalfi It is close to the centre yet when you are in the villa it is tranquil and views are amazing It is so nice and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful, breakfast on the terrace is just wonderful! I would definitely want to stay here again and I would happily recommend villa Lara to anyone going to beautiful Amalfi
