The hotel is in a convenient location and most things are walkable. However, upon arrival we were assigned a room on the 5th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor with a narrow winding staircase allows one to access rooms on the 5th floor. Upon discovering this I requested a room on a lower floor. They were finally able to give us a room on the 4th floor but there were stirs on that floor a well. I would not recommend this hotel is stairs are a problem. The breakfast that was available was 1 step above a continental breakfast and we were charged for it.

Excellent location . Well kept. Great customer service . Cute little rooms. Beautifully renovated . Would definitely recommend ! Just around the corner from Loren’s bakery, Bagel & Beans and close to the 9 streets .

Property was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for enjoying Amsterdam on foot.

The location was wonderful.!!! It was a converted apartment building. The room was adequate. Upon arrival, Glenn, the only person at the front desk did not seem to be very welcoming. The towels in the room had holes in them. The place was clean but a little run down. I requested some ice, as there were no ice machines anywhere, and was told by the same person the ice was "limited," and was not given any. The next morning, I asked if they had a freezer. They in fact, they had an ice maker. I was very turned off at that point. I asked Glenn to fill a request, he said he couldn't, I explained how it could be orchestrated, he then shouted at me "Don't tell me how to do my job." Quite honestly, except for one very nice girl who was accommodating, no one seemed to go out of their way to be " guest friendly." If you are looking for a clean place to sleep with relatively little else, this place is fine.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights. Staff are friendly and helpful with questions. Our small room is in a sort of basement which is ok. However I don’t believe the room was ever cleaned. They just turn down the beds. The shower and sink specially were never cleaned during our stay. Location is 15-min walk from central station which is fine as long as you’re not totting luggage as it’s hard to pull them on cobblestones. The tram is 8 min ride from central station plus 7 min walk to hotel.

Elegant hotel, nice room with comfy bed and ensuite bathroom. Has kettle and tea/coffee in the room. But you need the room key for the electricity so things won’t charge or be powered if you don’t have a key in the slot when you’re out. Quiet, understated. There is also a lift if you have heavy luggage.

Greatly managed property, and great hosts. Location is great if you like a more quiet area and like to walk around. Room was clean and roomy enough for travelers that spend time out vs working in room. Definitely will use again

Beautiful hotel in a great area of Amsterdam! Loved the loft room!!

The desk held our bags before we were able to check in and after we checked out before we left which was great for walking around the city. Bathroom and shower was very nice and new. Only con was the bed was a little firm and the pillows were a little flat.

Second time I’m staying at this hotel. Friendly staff and perfect location close to everything

Zentral gelegen, direkt am Kanal. Liebevoll eingerichtete, kleine Zimmer. Frühstück einfach, Service aber sehr herzlich und persönlich. Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Wen das stört, kann die bereit liegenden Oropax nutzen.

Very cute hotel. Small but personable in an excellent location. The room was very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Would recommend highly.

A lovely short stay

Centralt beliggende og hyggeligt hotel … god service. Rengøringen kunne dog være lidt bedre. Der lå en kunstig negel på gulvet ved det ene sengebord, da vi fik værelset og den blev ikke fjernet, da der var roomservice dagen efter. Der lå også flere mørke hår på dynen og udluftning på badeværelset duede ikke, men ellers nød vi vores weekend i Amsterdam.
