Very special. Outstanding service

Luksus på den usnobbede og ægte måde. Der findes wanna-be 5-stjernede, og så er der steder som Thotalagala, hvor 5 stjerner ikke rækker, fordi det at give gæsterne den bedste oplevelse (altid), er inkorporeret i dna’et hos medarbejdere, i ledelsen og i ydelserne der tilbydes. Det er de mange små ting som varmedunk i sengen, aften-te på værelset, vedligeholdelsesstanden overalt samt at alt kan lade sig gøre, der viser, at dette er et ægte luksus-hotel.

Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space. Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. Menu was more accommodating to the full board. This is a remote location so plan to be spending most meals at the hotel if you don’t have activities planned. Overall good experience!

Beautiful setting, very remote and high altitude. Weather was so much cooler than the south . Long trousers and Jumper recommended for evening and morning. Rain coat f you are doing hikes . We had a super time here , staff were outstanding and the level of detail was perfect. Hot water bottle in bed at night was so welcoming. Two nights to chill. Full board , all drinks , snacks all great with a lovely afternoon tea by the infinity pool.

THE BEST stuff we have ever had. Couldn’t wish for more care and service. Amazing location, food, views, bedding. One of the best stays in my life (and I had A LOT). Highly recommend. We stayed in the biggest room and were beyond happy
