Este hotel es mi favorito, siempre que venimos a Kyoto nos hospedamos aquí, a pesar de que por la temporada su precio fue elevado, valió la pena. El staff es muy amable, contaban hasta con folletos de donde ir a ver los cerezos, las pijamas que te prestan son comodas, esta en el corazón de gion, a unos minutos caminando de todo, es callado, bonita la habitación y amplia, siempre recomendare este hotel

Lite sjarmerende hotell i Japansk stil. Service innstilt personale, rent og pent. Perfekt beliggenhet, gå avstand til den vakreste delen av Kyoto i en stille og rolig gate. Kommer veldig gjerne tilbake.

This hotel was very over priced for what you were getting. The rooms small and low ceilings. We ended up moving hotels the same day and ended up paying way less for better accommodation and location and breakfast.

I must admit that I was a bit disappointed staying here. The lobby and eating area were small and dismal and our room on the first floor was also small and overlooked a building site next door (did not look like the photos on site with spa tubs/outdoor area etc. The location itself was excellent, very close to the sights in the old part of the city but aside from location I would not stay here again.

Our biggest issue with this property is that the images on Orbitz are hugely misleading. The photos suggest the hotel is situated in nature, with bath tubs looking out into the forest. In reality, this is a perfectly serviceable but very basic hostel-like hotel. Rather than bucolic, the bathroom in our room was entirely plastic and cramped. Again, it was a fine place to stay, just not at all what is suggested in the photos on Orbitz. Overpriced for what it is.

Beautiful area in Gion

Nice place in Gion! Great location and great staff. Hotel is older, rooms are smaller, and amenities are okay, but this is still a fabulous and affordable option in a great area!

Clean, comfortable, quiet room and very spacious for Japans standards. Location was good in the Gion district but kind of wished we stayed a bit more central so it was more convenient to get to temples.

You can tell it’s a bit “aged” but it’s pretty good overall, especially considering the price. Really loved my stay in this little hotel. Great location too, nice, very clean and quiet. 100% recommend.

For a Japanese hotel, the room was very spacious! It had all the amenities I needed, including free coffee and breakfast. They helped me with luggage forwarding to Osaka as well which is hugely helpful. The hotel is also in a nice location with easy access to multiple bus stops within walking distance. I would stay here again!
