It starts with a tradition: a sip of the magical waters, a connection between guests. You had to be there to experience it. There was one small annoyance for me, a small bed. But the joyful accommodation of the staff, the whimsical decorations everywhere, murals and angel wings and positive messages on the steps made the entire experience large, enjoyable, unique. Go for it.

My stay at this charming boutique hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself was truly unique—full of character and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly welcoming and consistently attentive throughout my stay. Special thanks to Katalia, who stood out with her politeness and respectful demeanor—she made me feel genuinely cared for. Mornings began with a delicious continental breakfast, offering a great variety and fresh ingredients. The pool area was spotless and serene, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Speaking of exploring, the hotel’s location couldn’t have been better—within walking distance to the beach, great shopping, and all the local hotspots. The rooms were impressively spacious and immaculately clean, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. I highly recommend this boutique gem for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were a group of eight individuals. We celebrated my husbands 40th Birthday. Everything was amazing in the location. The service, the cleanness of the room. The swimming pool. The bar drinks would definitely stay there again. Definitely will be recommending this location to everyone. I know Catalina was amazing.

I don’t think it is humanly possible to have more fun staying somewhere, Casa Maria was a delight in every way, but mostly for the staff and other guests. I met people to go out with every night, and every night was a party. The bar tender Catalina even arranged a piñata to celebrate the birthdays of some of the other guests, it was a blast and the perfect home base for enjoying Puerto Vallarta!

Super cute boutique hotel 1½ blocks from the beach in the heart of Zona Romantica. I really can't say enough good about this place: the staff is so kind helpful and fun, the location in the Zona is superb, the decor is beautiful fun and vibrant, the pool and courtyard are spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained just like the rooms... we absolutely loved our stay and plan to go back just like you will if you go. My only caution would be for people with mobility issues, if you're familiar with PV you know there are areas that get very steep and the sidewalk in front of the hotel has some pretty steep stairs so be aware of that if it could be a concern for you.

Casa Maria is a small and lovely hotel in the Zona Romantica neighborhood. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. There is a cafe/bakery that offers a complimentary breakfast which includes beautifully presented fruits, granola, bread, jam and yogurt. The decor is colorful and fun. It is about 2 blocks away from Playa De Los Muertos Pier, but feels quiet and tucked away for being in such a popular area. The staff offered guidance and advice on things to do, since this was our first visit to Mexico. We cannot wait to return!

Nice property with a great staff. Centrally located. Get your brkfst two blocks away at Cafe de Olla which is “the” place. You’ll thank me ;) Yes, I’d stay at Casa Maria again.

My wife and i loved this hotel and the staff. In the heart of the Zona Romántica with tons of great restaurants and beach within walking distance. We cant wait to go back 😎
