Hot days in Paris and the AC unit did not operator correctly in our room. We told staff every day and sometimes many times. They did not fix the problem. We slept so bad!

God frokost, store rom og veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte. Veldig stille selv om vi hadde rom ut mot bilveien. Dagen vi ankom måtte vi vente litt før vi fikk sjekket inn og tok noe å drikke i hagen som var veldig privat og med god atmosfære. Til min store overraskelse var de utsolgt for øl men en god hvitvin var også å foretrekke. Men utsolgt for øl, det har jeg aldri opplevd på et hotell før.

The room was very small for two people and the facilities in the room were at the level of 3 or 4 star hotels, not for a 5 star hotel.

This is my second time staying at Hôtel Alfred Sommier, and it remains one of the most charming hotels I’ve experienced in Paris. It has the atmosphere of a private château tucked into the city - elegant, intimate, and full of character - while still feeling distinctly Parisian rather than overly formal or staged. The location is excellent: quiet yet central, within walking distance of many of Paris’ most beautiful areas. The rooms are refined and comfortable, and the overall design preserves the historical soul of the building without sacrificing modern comfort. What stands out most is the feeling of calm and understated luxury. After busy days in Paris, returning to the hotel genuinely feels relaxing. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to travelers looking for something more personal and atmospheric than a standard luxury hotel.

I gave them a second change, but I'm really disappointed, never ever comeback to this place, not recommend for any one if they ask!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the exceptional service we received from Vincent. From the moment we arrived, Vincent greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about our luggage, he made sure it was properly stored while we were on a tour outside Paris and delivered to our room. His positive attitude and hospitality made a lasting impression on us and truly elevated our entire stay.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, but what I don't' understand is why if there are two people in your party they through Expedia only allow 1 breakfast per day? It makes no sense. Everyday something was wrong. Coffee maker broken, dirty water glasses upon arrival, no wash clothes provided one day, no coffee pods or sugar the next. for a "5 star" hotel some of the small details were not there. I will say though the staff was super friendly and quick to fix the issues and problems. The room was clean but the bathroom door handle was broken, also if you have knee or leg problems getting into the shower/tub will be hard due to the height of the bathtub. Beds are comfortable and cozey to sleep. Room service staff amazing. Another plus is the hotel is about 20 to 30 minute walk from pretty much everything and the Metro is 4 minute walk away. Fix the small little things and it will be a true "5" star experience.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Alfred Sommier and we will definitely be returning.

Je garde un souvenir inoubliable de l'hôtel Alfred Sommier. L'élégance est partout: dans l'architecture, la déco, l'aménagement de la chambre et de la salle de bains et aussi dans les bonnes manières du personnel.

Clean room and bathroom. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very lovely.

Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet. Mann kan gå til alle attraksjoner. Enkelt å finne frem. Det har vakker fasade og mer Paris kan det ikke bli. Rommene er gamle men delikate. Senga var veldig god. Til tross for by beliggenhet var det stille og rolig følte vi. Baderomsartiklene var så luksus. Betjeningen er hjelpsom og hyggelig. Frokosten er typisk lett fransk. Gode pålegger, oster og frukter. Litt skuffet over kvaliteten på croissantene. Kaffen kunne hatt litt bedre kvalitet. Vi ble godt mottatt men kanskje litt oppgitt og skuffet over at rommet ikke var klart til kl 15.00 Vi fikk ikke rommet før kl 16.00. Satt og ventet, slitne og tørste. De kunne bydd oss en kaffe eller glass champagne for den forsinkelsen.

This was a beautiful property, close to the metro as well as walking distance to many sites. The room we were in had a view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a nice surprise! Staff was very friendly and the room service was always top notch!
