Lovely hotel

This is good location and area ,

I fully recommend Alfred Sommier hotel. Its family atmosphere with a a very kind and professional staff exceeded my expectations. The AC worked perfectly well while Paris was overheating.

This hotel doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. The room is extremely small which I get in Europe. It is clean. But the shower and washroom are outdated. The breakfast buffet didn’t have lots of option for 35 euro.

People at there wasn’t nice. And party was too loud. AC not working well

J’ai passé un super séjour à l’hôtel Alfred Sommier. L’endroit est magnifique, calme et très bien situé. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et aux petits soins. Ma chambre était confortable et très propre. On s’y sent bien dès l’arrivée. Je recommande sans hésiter !

We advised the Hotel that we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the Hotel did not acknowledge. Our room was very nice and comfortable but the hallways were terrible. The carpets were old and dirty. The common areas are not well kept. Marble is dull and looks dirty. Entrance is dark, unkept and unwelcoming. Definitely is not a 5 star hotel and is barely a 4 star at best. One day, we were out all day and our room was not cleaned when we returned at 15:00z

Location, architecture, courtyard

My wife, our 8-month-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed at Alfred Sommier for two nights. This was the second time my wife and I stayed here, and I have to say—it was even better this time. The hotel is located close to Galeries Lafayette, L’Opéra Garnier, and Rue Royale, making it perfect for anyone who loves to stroll and explore Paris. This time, we arrived by car and were offered parking, which was very convenient. Since we were traveling with our daughter and dog, we opted for a deluxe room. Just like the rest of the hotel, the room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the overall style of the building, while blending modern comfort with contemporary design. The staff were professional and friendly—from our initial phone contact to check-in, housekeeping, and breakfast service. Our dog was welcome everywhere in the hotel, and there was no extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast is wonderful. Personally, I prefer quality over quantity, and at Alfred Sommier, you get both. There are plenty of options, but above all, everything is of the highest quality. I’ve tried many croissants, but I’ve yet to find one better than the one served at this hotel. We are very happy with our stay and will definitely return—and we’ll be recommending your lovely hotel to friends and family visiting Paris.

What a gem; exquisite in every regard! The charm of this hotel exceeded hopes and expectations. All requests were met with a speedy, positive response, as if we were family. And, indeed, the owner’s daughter (absolutely charming herself) indicated that this is their goal. Don’t miss the opportunity for a perfect stay in Paris!

A wonderful place and hidden gem

Great location; former private house that still seems like a house not a hotel for the price. Gym small. Rooms small for the price. Some staff annoyingly slow and not knowledgeable about hotel operations.

Being near the Madeline is a great location. The rooms are small, some very small for a high price. The inner courtyard allows light in the rooms but can be loud with cars, rolling suitcases, groups and motorcycles if you stay on a lower floor. The gym is small. It is a former house which provides some charm but it operates more like a house, than a hotel. Some front desk staff could be more helpful and knowledgeable.

I loved the location and traditional architecture and internal courtyard Rooms are too small, staff is friendly but amateurish. Lots of used room service trays stay in common parts for too long. Staff use same lifts as guests with big trolleys Street side is noisy with some construction early. Housekeeping forgets water and tissue paper refilling.

Room very nice except bathtub( very dangerous taking a shower , high risk slipping ) Room request at time of booking and three prior arrival not followed at all : first floor i.o. high floor )

The hotel was fabulous. Enjoyed staying here. It was our first time in Paris, but our daughters have stayed here before. They completely recommended it. It was a great recommendation.

Very quiet given great location. Good choice at buffet breakfast. Big rooms that had been modernised without loosing original character, including large windows. Modern bathroom.
