A nice and comfort budget hotel. The hotel location was closed to bus and subway stations. The receptionists were nice and helpful. There is luggage drop off service available in this hotel. You can enjoy your last day in Kyoto without luggage. We enjoyed our stay in Fugastay Shijo Omiya.

とても綺麗はお部屋でした。掃除も行き届いており、気持ちよくすごせました。 朝のお化粧準備等で使用する鏡がテレビ台の上などにあればなお嬉しかったです。 ホテル周辺の道は細いので、車の時は注意が必要です。

静かな路地裏に施設があり、ゆっくり休めました。周辺にコンビニ、飲食店が豊富にあるので食事も困りませんでした。また、館内と室内がとてもキレイです。

A very nice basic hotel.

La chambre est plutôt grande par rapport aux standards japonais et propre. Le ménage est fait sur demande pour ceux qui y séjournent plus de 3 jours. Les réceptionnistes de jour ne sont pas très agréables ni accueillantes, pas de sourire mais plutôt froides. Elles ne parlent pas bien anglais, au point de devoir utiliser un traducteur pour communiquer. Gros point négatif : Pas de toilettes à l'accueil pour les clients, surtout après un long trajet et voyage.

Great budget hotel with boutique vibe and zen feel. Located close to multiple bus stops and Omiya station, and multiple convenient stores around. Friendly and courteous staff, great hotel scent!

I rarely leave ratings any more, but FUGASTAY deserves 5-stars. After a long day of travel it was a welcome place to rest.

It was relatively cheap find with accessible location. However, i had some non pleasant stay there. 1. The room smelled bad and i had to buy air freshener spray, 2. We stayed in 4th floor and corridor fan was very loud, ended up couldn’t sleep for the first night.

February visit Our hotel room was surprisingly spacious, clean and functional. It had 2 twin beds, but my wife and I ended up just utilizing one. Has a mini fridge, tv (for those who care), and disposable slippers. I gave it 5 stars because it was exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price. Staff were great and check in process was fast. One thing to note: - Room was very warm! (This wasn't really a problem because we turned on the air conditioner to compensate. Just felt bad about it 😬🙏)
