Rating & Review Keseluruhan Brisa Oceano Resort

When we arrived to Brisa we were escorted to our room by staff and given a quick tour of the room. We quickly noticed that we did not have a pull out couch (we booked the 2 bedroom with 3 beds beach access) and when one of my guests went to inform staff and initially received an attitude that we “did not rent the cot as we were supposed to”. I then had to go and speak with staff myself which I believe I spoke with a manager who was then quick to remedy the situation as we did indeed book 3 beds, not a cot. They went and swapped out the couch with another room that did have the pull out bed which was appreciated. We also inquired about our VIP welcome cocktails, which staff went to go get more supplies to make those for us. Beach was ten steps away from our room and several steps away from “the boardwalk” which leads through the town with shops and other hotels and restaurants. Room stayed cold, size of rooms were great, technically 2 balconies with our room. This easy access also allows almost anyone to walk through or on the property, so just something to be aware of. We were aware the Sargassum was an issue, but we were upset about the lack of trying to clean up at least the garbage stuck within the sargassum on the beach, it was really dirty, we’ve posted pictures. We were unable to swim far enough out to have clear water. Towards the right of the property in the corner of the beach seemed to be better. Great location on the beach and Placencia sidewalk. Easy access to bars, restaurants, shopping, and pier. Friendly staff and great room with a very comfortable bed! I would definitely stay here again!

Brisa Oceano was a great place to stay. It was a great location. Very clean and friendly service. Would stay here again. Front desk was amazing! I wish I would remember their names.

Had a wonderful visit

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. My room was comfortable and very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. My only complaint is that there was no noise barrier. I could hear everything from the other rooms.

Excellent location with walking distance to everything, big nice beach out front, big clean beautiful room

Staff and accommodations were superb. unfortunately for us there was an adjoining room w/just a wooden door between us. A late check in of a guest #3 and #4 at 12:13 AM kept both my daughter and I up till 2 AM. We had to arise at 6 AM to meet our ground transportation, and I just have never banged on someone's door asking 'Can we just keep it down a little?' I wished I had..

Clean rooms, helpful staff, walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the beach. It’s right on the sidewalk walkway. Great AC.

Nice but issue in our room with water on floor due to condensation from below. Do not recommend properly restaurant. Staff was lovely and room small but nice.

This resort is top notch. The staff were wonderful and the room was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

We were promised ocean view room with a kitchen. We didn't have either. I called Expedia and got a small refund. The pain of being deceived still lingers.

Step out of your room and you are on the beach. The units are modern. I had a 2 bedroom that was very spacious. Comfortable beds.

Nice hotel, located right on the beach. We stayed in a beach-view room with a lovely balcony offering a direct view of the ocean. The overall experience was pleasant, but the room cleaning service was lacking. When they were supposed to clean the room, they only brought fresh towels and didn’t clean or even wipe the floor. Aside from that, everything else was great

Very comfortable and spacious property located right on the beach within walking distance to many great restaurants and activities.

Our reservation was for December 28th. We arrived early and called to see if we could check in, but they said no, which was fine. However, when we arrived at 3 PM, the scheduled check-in time, we were told we’d have to wait another hour. When we finally got to the room, it was set up for two people, despite my reservation clearly stating it was for four. I showed them my receipt, but they insisted I only reserved for two. The room only had a loveseat, and when I complained, they brought in another loveseat instead of resolving the issue properly. My adult children couldn’t fit on them, so my son had to sleep on the floor. No refunds or discounts were offered. To make matters worse, the previous guests of our room walked in with a key they still had. Housekeeping also entered our room twice without knocking. We felt unsafe the entire time. Other issues: Wi-Fi didn’t work for two of three days. The bathroom door didn’t close. There was a used tampon in the trash when we arrived. The sliding glass door leaked, leaving a puddle by my bed. The staff took no accountability and dismissed my concerns, despite how much I paid for this trip. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location right on the beach. Near great restaurants. Enjoyed the breakfast for purchase at restaurant above the office. Kayaks and bikes are free to use.
