I was really excited to stay here after seeing all the pictures and reading the description for this place. we ended up with a room that i can only describe as being in the attic. really wierd staircase to get up to the room, and the floor in the room was sloped severely. I realize its an old building, however it definitely needs some structural attention. The bed was also uncomfortable, which made for a less than stellar stay. not the worst ive stayed in, but far from what the description boasted.

quirky building, very creaky floor boards, i was in room 2 over the bar area and it was very noisy, but it is a pub. i had some very noisy people above me in the attic that keep me awake till the early hours. good breakfast and the staff were helpful.

Very nice service & little traffic noise. Heathrow planes fly to and fro above but I never heard them during the night. Perhaps the wall-cupboard could be made into a shower-room/toilet in future. At the moment the shared toilets and shower are outside in the corridor.

Noisy fan which we could hear from the room at night. Beautiful garden where we relaxed and had a nice drink. Thank you, all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Great pub/hotel room was decent sized no frills but everything we needed for our stay. We had a very good deal and stayed 1 night. The only issues we had were parking, as the pub did not have a car park and most of the nearby streets were residents only so we had to park about 10/15 minutes away. We stayed Friday night so music was fairly loud until 10pm, then stopped at 11pm, so managed to sleep quite well once it stopped. Lastly the room was very warm in the middle of summer without any sort of air conditioning or fan. Overall the room was very clean, in a good location very close to London, near public transport and served its purpose for our stay. Staff were very friendly and check in was very quick.

This inn is absolutely fantastic from the spotless rooms to the great bar with the most lovely staff and friendly people. Its a short walk to the town centre and stadium. Id highly recommend fantastic price to boot. Ps breakfast was 10/10

Stopped here a couple of times now and would definitely stop again.. within walking distance to a couple of stations… clean rooms, friendly staff and really good price…

The room was more of a cupboard with camp beds in it should only be used as a store room or single .lack of ventilation

Uncomfortable bed. Noise from downstairs all night. Sounded like boiler kicking in or fridge unit.

Great place to stay if attending any event at Twickenham Stadium or the Stoop. Not many frills but well priced with excellent staff and one of the best value breakfast I've had.

After a long day's travelling, I was glad to be greeted by the friendly bar man who showed me to my room lovely sleep

Had a great stay in an authentic British Inn… Bar area was a fun place to spend the evening after a day of sightseeing in London (only a 25 minute train journey)….place is older but very clean and welcoming. Watch your head….low beams and tight staircase… not suitable for persons with mobility issues…. Rugby game days will be very busy, if that’s not your thing then avoid those days… we will definitely stay again. Oh.. and good price point…

Lovely pub in walking distance of Twickenham and Twickenham Stoop. Comfy beds. Unusual not to have en suite bathroom facilities, however this wasnt an issue as there was multiple toilets amd a shower facility. Lovely friendly staff.

I was going to order food for the evening. I asked the member of staff about it. She called the woman who comes in to cook who said she was out for the evening and couldn't get back to cook.

We stayed in a trouble room in the attic. The check in was prompt and a member of bar staff showed us to the room. Is was nice and clean with its own showroom and toilet. Despite a loud party in the pub, there was no noise in the room. Breakfast in the morning was hearty although they maybe could invest in more superior ingredients. We’d definitely stay here again when in the area.
