Poor review don’t bother because they obviously cant cope . Poor review due to the arrogant condescending male on the door bell preaching to me like a teenager because I hadn’t received an email they sent. I wasn’t receiving Any emails and there was nothing on the booking app.. Then a young male turned up flashing his Loser signs L who got me the key. Then a lady Toni banged at the door and was shaking nervously flashing her phone under my nose saying this is the email I explained the circs about my emails L sent because he probably her abusive partner was shouting to her about it .They might want to remove the sign that says race no bell and we will come to you. Must say Toni was very professional this morning and the building is well turned out inside and a good continental breakfast.

If you are lanning to stay more than one day, PLEASE TAKE YOUR SHOWER GEL. Room are not cleaned daily. Continental Breakfast was OK. Weather became colder in evening & at night, there is no heating. When I requested, she can ot start central heating as these are summer months. There is no portable heater. Be careful, befora you book this palce

Lovely homecooked breakfast

I was given a room where the blinds didn’t work and there were no curtains!! So was awake from 4am and then to top it all the sun shone directly onto the bed!!

Had a lovely stay here. Very good value for money. The room was very clean and warm and a good size, and was very comfortable for my 2 night stay. The breakfasts were delicious. Would stay again if I needed to stay in the area.

Nice

Check in was easy. I was greeted at the front entrance after ringing the bell. The front door remains locked and only opened by your room key or from the inside which makes for a safe secure feeling. Parking is free and right outside the main door with ample spaces surrounding a lovely grassed area with wooden benches and trees. There is a cosy bar if required but I preferred to have a drink with my meal at my table. The restaurant had a varied menu with lots of choices. Soft music in the background made for a nice ambience. Having stayed here before, I knew that the bed was comfortable and it didn’t disappoint this time either. Although very close to the motorway, the windows make for a soundproof room. The owners here are lovely, welcoming and friendly. I’ve already booked a return stay for my next trip in this area.

Great stay. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Very friendly owner. We wished we had stayed Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the Monday so that we could have eaten in the restaurant both nights - the food was delicious. The continental breakfast was also amazing - massive choice to suit all tastes.

More of a B&B feel to it. I think i might have been the only person they had staying that night. Cooked breakfast was minimal, but very nice owner.

Greeted in a unprofessional manner re hosts dress attire then found the toilet seat was loose. Booked for 7.30pm dinner but was greeted by male host not too be late as we were the only guests eating in the dining room so they wanted to finish up asap. Then was watched as wanted our food order quickly (re above) then was hovered over by the host commenting "How are we doing" whilst we were still waiting then have you finished. The steak however was very good however a bit more relaxed time to have eaten it would have been pleasant and also to have been asked if we wanted a sweet but then that would delayed then to closer up. Then when we went to relax in the empty bar lounge was told by the host that we could have 1 drink as the bar as would be closing at 9-9.15pm so as this was at 8.40pm didn't feel at all welcomed or relaxed. The surrounding garden was very run down in poor repair so we will certainly not be returning again.

Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients.

Have stayed on different occasions, always friendly, spotless, food excellent, and the owners are very accommodating and helpful.
