We have a lovely stay for my mum's birthday. The hotel is really well located within walking distance of the station and town centre and there's also lots of parking at the back. They have a nice garden at the back of the house that you can sit in as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were really impressed with the breakfast selection. The only downside was the room was a little dated and the wifi a bit slow but this didn't stop us having an enjoyable stay. I would recommend staying here.

Fine place to stay with a great location only short walk from restaurants and garden

The room was well decorated and clean. Two fans were provided which were welcome as the stay was in a heatwave. Good supply of tea, coffee etc and bathroom products. Adequate parking. Very good service at breakfast, food was quick and good. Staff friendly.

The location is excellent, the staff are good but the decorations are a little tired and good do with a make over and freshen up.

one night stay was excellent in every way. Easy to find. Good parking space. extremely clean and well maintained accommodation. Our room was at the back of the building and was very quiet. The Air conditioner was brilliant since our stay was in the heatwave. The breakfast was cooked to order. Perhaps a menu to look at in advance would be helpful but that is not a big issue. Would highly recommend this place and would look to stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Layout of hotel was very good. Looked a little worn in places but decor in the communal areas was great. Garden area was very nice, parking was excellent. Breakfast choices and quality was very good. Location to town was very convenient

Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Extremely clean rooms, bathrooms, the staff are so friendly and they can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in any English hotel and we stay in many! No problem parking, either in the forecourt or on the road. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very efficiently run hotel with breakfast being a highlight. Convenient parking. Room good size, bed comfortable. Slight negative in that the room, B1 was in the basement and appeared to be under the stairs so you could hear movement. Would stay again.

Lovely place to stay, rooms are a good size and beautifully clean. All the staff are so friendly they really make the visit. Good choice of things for breakfast and again staff are very helpful and accommodating. Free parking is a big bonus and the accommodation is so centrally situated it’s easy to walk everywhere. This was my second stay here, will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Victoria Park Lodge is wonderful the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly and breakfast is superb literally anything you want cooked to order. Cannot praise this place enough.
