Clean room , parking easy & safe , good choice of breakfast . The building is a bit run down in places, but it is an old building. Baslow is a lovely village, easy reach to Chatsworth house .

Good sized room. Bathroom a bit small but the shower was nice and hot. Tea and coffee provided but disappointed there were no biscuits. Bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep

Amazing convenient property in the Peak District. The property is charming and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Great pub and walking distance to Chatsworth House. A fantastic way to spend a holiday. Highly recommend!

Je n'ai pas eu de réponse. quand j'ai enfin pu joindre l'hébergement le soir de l'arrivée, on m'a indiqué qu'il n'y aurait plus personnes pour nous accueillir, et nous avons payé pour rien.

Staff were excellent, friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Clean and plenty of hot water. Beds great and slept like a log. Breakfast very good and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly return.

The hotel is located just outside the Chatsworth Estate, with stunning scenery. Hotel had plenty of "free to park" spaces. Good/easy check in, met with a smile by Laura, she showed us to our room (01) & explained everything concerning the hotel. Room was clean, tidy & in good order, with a nice king size bed. We prebooked breakfast & also had dinners in the restaurant. Good menue choices for both. Spending time in a service industry, I noticed front of house operated smoothly even coping well with the odd hiccup. The staff appeared to be working very hard. The only slight comment (& not under the hotel's control) was that it is located on a busy road with traffic going past 24/7, which we are not used to, coming from a quiet village.

The staff make this picturesque property.The staff were very kind, dedicated and helpful in making our stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again in the future. They had inclusive dining options for members of the party with food allergies and had gluten free bread.
