Reasonably clean room. Shower was good. Single staff member Ambiance of dining room was spoiled with a vacuum cleaner and ironing board in the room. The hotel is old and not well maintained but was adequate for a short stay.

This is NOT a hotel. Had to drive around a mile to a local pub for food. No bar or restaurant. Word HOTEL Painted on side of a house. Very rundown Tv small and connected to apps only no standard channels no duvet just a bedspread ( how many times will this get washed . Sleeper on the top. Never again

This hotel makes ‘Fawlty Towers’ look utterly luxurious! Whilst the premises appeared reasonably clean there was an unpleasant odour throughout but especially in the room and bathroom. We had understood from the website that breakfast was included in the room price but we were charged £10 each for what they called a continental breakfast. It comprised a self-service bowl of bran flakes or corn flakes, a round of toast and a small cup of instant coffee. The tables were not laid up and we were brought milk, sugar, spoons, coffee, cups, plates, a bowl containing butter and marmalade on separate journeys for each item. When I requested serviettes we were brought 3 tissues from a packet of paper hankies! I think the chap was trying to rack up his step-count.

The front door from my rooms didn’t close properly, dirty room and bathroom. I was so tired that I just need a place for sleeping for 1 night. But absolutely I will not stay again

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful house. Everything we needed for a super over night stay. Will come again.

When checking in the gentleman on reception was very friendly, but it all went down hill from there. The room was very cramped, the bathroom door could not be fully opened without hitting the bed, and on the other side of the bed there was no room for a bedside cabinet, and nowhere to put luggage. I booked a room for two, but it was set up for one with only one (dirty) mug and one set of towels. The bathroom smelt of sewerage, and both bathroom and bedroom were dirty. Fortunately we checked in late and left early- this is one to avoid.

The owner and staff very friendly . Saved us a parking spot for our van which had precious equipment for our work in a school the next day .

10am check out time was not practical. I had not realised it was so early to check out. Bed sheets could be better

Nice & quiet hotel but if “high speed wifi” is claimed in the ad booklets it is supposed to be do, not an atrocious 5 mbps coverage.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The were incredibly accommodating and helpful.

A warm duvet would have been nice. It was a very cold night sleeping in my jogging bottoms and jumper.

I was informed on arrival I had been upgraded so was very happy, but on looking around the very large bathroom (jacuzzi bath nice touch) i saw a huge crack in the shower tray. as it had been a hot day i had to use the shower and unfortunately on stepping in the crack opened up and stagnant smelly water entered the shower tray. I quickly got showered with the lingering stench in the bathroom had to close shower door and bathroom door chose not to risk another shower in the morning. Very disappointed at this standard

Nothing great here but did the job for a one night stay, Budget hotel - you get what you pay for. My room was recently decorated and clean. Staff were helpful on check in. My main gripe was music being played all night from the room next door to me --- i thought the management might have done something about it but it was unbelievable still playing when i was showering the next morning at 7am

On arrival I asked if it were possible to get a bar snack and a beer, nothing possible as the hotel, despite what seems like a restaurant on site as per website, there isnt one. As to the room , when I entered there was a distinct dank aroma present. The TV signal, presumably supplied through broadband kept dropping out. As for the bathroom, the sink was coming away from its base, the plug in the sink once operated I couldnt release the plug hence not being able to empty the sink. The shower door handle was hanging off and the shower thermostat dial was missing

A great stay, everyone friendly, room was quiet, bed really comfortable and clean.

Perfectly adequate hotel. Comfy bed, good shower. Tea and coffee in room. Would stay again if in area.
