Room was spacious with a fridge and small kitchen area. However it was very dated, the bathroom sink had a large crack in it. It could just do with refurbishing. The pool and steam room were lovely, very clean and well maintained. The hotel is sitting a lovely location. We would stay again but in a different room type as the courtyard rooms are very dated and I’d imagine would be very cold in the winter. The staff were very helpful and breakfast were also very good.

We had a nice room. Comfy bed and plenty of choice for breakfast. Welcoming staff and hotel. Treatment from spa and pool and steam room were relaxing. Not far from many places to visit. Went into town too.

We stayed in a courtyard room for 3 nights Sept25. Excellent room with little kitchenette with microwave, air fryer and fridge . Lovely size room with parking outside . Lovely warm pool . Victoria at reception was excellent . Brilliant customer service .

My wife and I used this as a one night stop over as part of a leisure trip. We were very happy with our choice. Hotel ( which has great spa facilities ) is a mile or so from village which has a few eating and drinking options if not wanting to eat at hotel. Staff excellent . Clean. Many thanks

We stayed for 2 nights at Cricklade hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel too

Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen en de sleutels gekregen, in de kamer aangekomen rook deze naar natte hond. De badkamer stonk nog erger en de vloerbedekking was bezaait met vieze vlekken. Bij het vragen of er een andere kamer mogelijk was, werd er gezegd dat het qua geur niet veel uitmaakt. En kregen een fles met geurspray mee. Dit heeft beperkt geholpen en werden dagelijks wakker met hoofdpijn. De badkamer viel van ellende bijna uit elkaar, en zag er vooroorlogs en ranzig uit. Vieze bruine randen om de wasmeubels en toilet, een wc.-rol houder die met nog een schroef op de muur zat en een thermostaatkraan die deed waar hij zin in had. Het ontbijt was ook slecht, geen kaas of vleeswaren, de eieren waren koud de koffie was slappe filterkoffie, en geen broodjes alleen borethammen. Als klap op de vuurpijl is er een groep van 6 dronken gasten die met kleren en al de sauna, het stoombad en het zwembad in gaan, het personeel ziet het op de camera en doet niks. Bij navragen bij het personeel worst er gezegd dat ze het heeft gezien, maar alleen is en er niks aan kan doen. Al met al zeker geen goede ervaring en zeker geen 4 sterren waard, max 2 1/2 ster. Laat je niet misleiden door de foto’s op expedia, de werkelijkheid is heel anders. Wij zullen in ieder geval nooit meer terug gaan.

This could be a lovely hotel with fab views and a great little spa, but it all needs a good sort-out and staff training.

Overall a good experience. Nice room (but no fridge), nice staff and an excellent breakfast. Dinner was only average. I'd stay again but I'd eat out for dinner.

Breakfast on Saturday morning was a bit disorganised with it seemed inexperienced staff Sunday breakfast was excellent staff were on it completely The bed was to soft for myself but my wife slept like a baby Overall it was a very enjoyable weekend away

Great place to stay extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely experience too. If i had to find a minus point it would be no black out blinds or curtauns in the rooms so as soon as the sun came up the venetian blinds hid nothing, but im just clutching at straws here. Great base for our Cotswolds weekend. Thank you Cricklade House!

Nos dieron habitación pequeña en ático para estancia de 6 noches que afortunadamente nos cambiaron a petición nuestra. Lo mejor la piscina impecable de limpieza, baño turco y sauna. Aparcamiento a la puerta. Cama cómoda. Baño necesita revisar grifo suelto y goma de mampara de ducha no estanca, se inunda. Zona de comedor muy agrabale, desayuno excelente.

Lovely setting to stay in. The staff and cleanliness were exceptional. We stayed in a courtyard room so it was very quiet. The room itself was very nice, however, it is in need of on update. The bathroom has rusted pipe work which was not great on the eye. Some TLC is definitely needed and would make the stay that much better.

We had a nice large room with sensible bedside lights. Nice big towels for showering and also for use at the pool. (Staff didn't know the length of the pool). Only had one meal at the hotel as we were out the other night. 2 for 1 pizza offer. Toilet paper could have been better quality given the cost of the room.

A bit dated but great value for money and would stay again.

Its a decent hotel. My room did not have a fridge or microwave. Just bed, desk, and TV. The pool/spa is good though
