When we did the pre check in we were told we would get notified when our room was ready. We received notification to proceed directly to desk upon arrival as our room would be ready. It was not ready until after 3: . Not a big deal. The property itself is very pretty. Most of the staff seemed like you were bothering them, whether it was ordering a drink or sitting down to eat, it was like we were inconveniencing them , yet we left over $400 in tips throughout our 5 day stay even though tips were included. There were some very lovely people though, Jane at breakfast was a standout. Also, a lot of the guests, maybe because they were frustrated by what I just explained or because they’re just flat out rude, were terrible to the staff. So maybe that’s why the staff isn’t so excited or enthusiastic to help. Either way unfortunately it’s the business. The Italian restaurant was our best experience staff and food wise.
Oh and our view was literally on a roof. Literally on a roof. Worst view I’ve ever had in any hotel, and the resort was clearly not booked.
