Great location and clean

Good value, no frills accommodation within easy reach of Hull city centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean room and comfy bed.

Once I was oriented to Hull, the location was good. That neighborhood was generally quiet and very close to Pearson Park and the shops and restaurants in Princes Street. Public transport is very good, the hotel being on the major bus lines. Bare bones would describe the amenities, but the most objectionable were the same parties who made abundant noise returning to their rooms two nights in a row at 1:45 am. Hotel reception has no staffing at that hour, so can't enforce quiet time for those who wish to sleep. There are some shops nearby for breakfast items. Some people might say you get what you pay for, but the Dorchester could do better.

Always lodge there when I go to Hull

There were issues at registration due to me being later than anticipated and nobody being there 7.15pm. When I got in the room was basic but clean. There was a lack of pillows. But we just folded the throw and used that. There was an horrific amout of noise when the guests were returning to their rooms after 1.30am. They were talking very loudly in the corridors as well as in their rooms which we could very clearly hear. This carried on for at least an hour and a half.

The hotel has good contingency measures for in the event of the reception being empty upon customer arrival. They have a phone number to call to alert staff that a customer is waiting at the door to reception.

A place i would like to lodge again and again

Everything you need. Great value and included tea and coffee, USB points, a bath and parking! Rm 2. Reception welcoming and helpful.

No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund.

Good for the money. Room was very clean, as was bedding. The 3 members of staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful.

Easy to park staff were efficient easy check in . Basic room with bed and bathroom very clean but what else do you need .

Parking good staff good Rome clean just one thing though it was cold in the room .

Booked in, took one look at the room and left for the Travelodge. Quite used to basic but this was on a different level. Room not much bigger than a cell! Shame as they obviously tried to make a nice bathroom etc but still have tiny rooms that are stark. Quite disappointed- pictures don’t match the reality.

Parking was easy and secure. Our room was a triple. Quite spacious with comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom. Was a bit out from the town centre with lots of take aways closer by. Could do with a fre more coat hangers but a 7/10 from us.

Didnt have a car with me but plenty of parking. Room perfectly fine for a one night stay. Food outlets 200m away

Clean room Friendly staff

The room was spotless as was the bed linen. The staff were extremely helpful, with changing my room to one near the main door. The price is very good, quiet although central to everything I needed. Highly recommended.
