Received an email offering early check in. I replied and accepted the fee so we would have 10 am check in. Got up at 4 am on check in day and drove the 4 hours to the hotel just to find they had no idea what we were talking about even though I showed them the email I received from them. So we got to sit around their lobby for 5 hours hoping to get our room. Ended up getting our room shortly AFTER normal check in time. Ridiculous.

We stayed in the oceanfront 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. We were lucky to be given a room on the highest floor, the view was great and there's even a window in the bedroom and kitchen. We were impressed with the room amenities, especially the full kitchen which was well equipped. The property seems brand new, we had a really comfortable stay. One thing to note, the hotel request for your contact number at check in to disseminate info and encourage guests to sms guest services instead of calling. However this is not really applicable to international travellers as such sms could incur additional phone charges. The hotel can consider using Whatsapp or other phone apps instead of sms.

Love love love this resort, the staff were cheerful and so helpful! The cleanliness was great and the location was amazing, just 2 blocks from the boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Appalling Experience – Stay Away! I recently stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Myrtle Beach, SC, and what was supposed to be a relaxing 4-day getaway turned into a complete nightmare. On the second night of my stay, the hotel decided to pre-authorize my card — mid-trip. My bank flagged the charge as potential fraud, as many do with unusual transactions, which is entirely understandable. What is not understandable is the hotel’s outrageous response. Less than 10 minutes after sending a text alerting me of the declined charge, two security guards were banging on my door late at night, demanding immediate payment as if I were some kind of criminal. This was not a knock or a polite check-in — it was aggressive, inappropriate, and deeply unsettling. I explained the situation and told them this could easily be resolved in the morning. Instead, I had to scramble to call my bank, get the charge approved, get dressed, and go down to the lobby late at night to avoid being thrown out of the hotel. For a property under the Hilton brand, this was an inexcusable display of poor judgment, terrible customer service, and total disregard for guest comfort and dignity. I felt harassed, humiliated, and completely unsafe. I will never stay at this location again and I strongly advise others to steer clear. Myrtle Beach has plenty of options — don’t waste your money or peace of mind here. Hilton should be ashamed.

Hotel receptionist named Mary, was extremely rude along with the night manager named Carli. Carli was so outrageous and obnoxious that when I was writing her name from her name tag, spelled it out as if I couldn't see. She also said, I booked with a third party as if it was the greatest sin on earth. Mary called me a liar when I told her someone had given me an extra hour since I was Diamond as a courtesy, then she said no one would ever offer that. She then goes to the back and Carli the night manager, echoed the same statement and said Mary was such a nice person. Maybe she is, but neither were to me. Not sure what their problem is, but I'll let Hilton take the wheel from here.

This hotel should be called The Hilton Chaos. Extremely loud, having to wait for everything, not enough spots at the pool for hardly anyone. The room needed maintenance on the toilet so it stunk up the room. Also we had to buy a pan because the one in the room was scratched up with Teflon coming off in the food. Instructions for the coffee pot were ridiculous had to call to have someone come up and show me how to make coffee. Also was offered 80,000 points for my Hilton Honors, but was rejected by a person that mad3 us feel humiliated. I have stayed at alot of Hilton properties but for the money this was the worst. Not what we expected at all. Lastly the valet parking personnel were incredible. We had to park in the lot across the street in the rain or we would have been late for dinner because the line for checking in was insane, cars backed up in the street.. These guys were under so much stress to get people in the building. So we had to park across the street in the rain. And last but not least we went to use the blender and it had pieces of glass in the broken blender, we called the front desk and about an hour later we recieved the new blender but we no longer needed it. I believe we need a refund for the worst trip to Myrtle Beach in the 15 years I’ve been going there.

We've stayed here in the past mainly because of the friendly staff, excellent facility and great location. You can park the car and walk to nearly every destination easily. This year we stayed a week and as always thoroughly enjoyed every day. Even though we stayed a week we were only offered one visit by housekeeping. Would think at least two visits would be proper. Bed pillows are hard and heavy. Brought my own this time so I could get some sleep. Other than that, no real complaints. Would be nice if you could order food from your umbrella on the beach and have it delivered. I'm sure the hotel would make a lot of extra income providing this service.
