Nice quiet hotel

King Hotel Palmerston was a great choice for our stay. The room was simple, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It was quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep, and the location was convenient for our softball tournament. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff was very friendly and they kept our room clean. It seems to be the only hotel in town, but it's ok. The hotel doesn't really have amenities, but the rooms are good enough.

Friendly and professional staff. Nicely maintained grounds - grass cut, floral arrangements. Clean room, welcome note. Security measures in effect. This motel is an excellent choice in the quaint town of Palmerston in the heart of farm/mennonite Ontario. Close to restaurants and relatively close to other tourist towns of interest including Arthur and St. Jacobs. We recommend

Check in, check out, was quick and easy. Quiet comfortable and friendly.

Check in was good - checked in early and our room was ready. Toilet was a bit plugged on our arrival into the room but was fixed when we came back at night. Only complaint was the vacuuming in the hallway before 8 a.m. on Sunday morning! We had looked forward to sleeping in a bit after a long day previous, but that is certainly not a complain against eager and friendly staff - just personal preference. 8 a.m. vacuuming with an 11 a.m. checkout wasn't what we were expecting!

The room was clean, it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were professional. The hotel doesn't have a pool or restaurant so that was disappointing. I was a bit surprised that the staff did a room inspection before returning my unexpected $200.00 cleaning deposit.

Rooms were clean, but worn. Very basic. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not much in immediate area, but food/restaurants are only about 15 mins away.

Lots of parking. Quiet area. Could not hear road. TV was a bit finicky as per some channels would load, then quit later. In all fairness, there was some bad atmospheric conditions with a storm that may have effected the satellite signal. Front staff came to the room to help right away with the problem. Room was clean. We liked the microwave and fridge in the room. Check-in was fast and efficient. Only thing for me was no physical bar of soap. Had body soap in a tube, but no bar of soap anywhere for the sink. All in all a pleasant experience. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner got me set up in my room, turned on the heat, and T.V. and gave me tips to go for dinner. I liked the hotel and it was perfect for my overnight stay.

The beds were very comfortable & room clean. Staff were very accommodating with us wanting a different room at check-in. Staff very friendly. Didn't use the amenities.

Everything was good, but the room had no windows, and the jets in the tub only turned on once. And the shower temperature was impossible to find, while the water came out in more of a drizzle.

Staying for a ball tournament always a great choice. Clean room, updated bathroom. Disappointed about the lack of breakfast (they used to offer it) and the “recreation room Not being set up (pool tables not able to be used). Other than that it’s good.
