All very goo

We needed a stop off for the night on a journey and this was just fine. The bed was clean and comfortable and that's pretty much where the good news ends! Rather tired property. Room was on its last legs. Laminate floor in bad condition. Plugs not attached with chains! Some dirt in bathroom. Enamel in bath is chipped. Loo was very difficult to flush. Loo was rather filthy in the U bend. TV fizzled out just at the end of Djokovic match and there was then no tv signal! Breakfast was edible but not great. Sausages not the best. Bacon not the best. There is a small fridge for milk and it was filthy with a curly hair to boot! Again laminate floor is past its best and one window was smashed by the hot food! Can I recommend this place? Sadly not.

Hotel needs a significant refresh. Bathrooms poor and service not good.

This was our second stay here and it was better than the first. The staff were 110%. Given the heat a couple of garden brollies would have been welcome. Thanks.

The stay was ok. Building needs updating in all areas as just looks tired and dated

Fantastic few days over a very HOT week .. and the mini fridge in the room was a blessing! But then, the Gray Manor Hotel has lots of little touches that just make your stay very, very enjoyable .. and the breakfasts (delicious!) - Ideally placed for the A303, free parking, and fabulous outdoor areas for a cold beer or to just wander .. trust me, this is a great place to stay!

Staff were lovely Beds were clean Everything else was just very tired looking with stains on carpets and lots of maintenance jobs needing to be done Breakfast was ok

Room was dirty and dated. Decided not to stay there as they did not have air conditioning

I loved the vibe of this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, a nice bar and most importantly a very doggy-friendly place. I would recommend it to all travelers :)

Room was good, needs a little updating as the bathroom floor had dark patches.

Comfortable beds. great breakfast, lovely staff, and two awesome dogs!

I did not take dinner or breakfast. The room was adequate but “tired”. I could not get the TV to work - it was literally a bed for the night. Sorry, but I cannot recommend on my experience. (The free ranging dog was not to my taste either - just unprofessional. I love animals but…come on)

Bit tired but ok for price, breakfast good . 2 big dogs wandering around, totally ignored guests but some would find it off putting

We recently stayed at Gray Manor Hotel, and while the reception team was friendly and welcoming, the property itself is significantly run down and poorly maintained. The grounds are highly neglected, cluttered with dilapidated sheds, and covered in rubbish. Inside the room, the lifted laminate flooring was a genuine safety hazard. Furthermore, the room was incredibly hot with only a loud mini fan provided, and a constant, heavy mechanical noise from a pump ran all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The Wi-Fi was also highly unreliable, and the TV would not connect to any network. While the staff is doing their best, the hotel requires urgent attention regarding basic maintenance, safety, and hygiene. We ultimately had to check out early due to these conditions.

King Size Bed was terrible, would not stay again.

Wevhad a one night stop over to visit relatives. Found the hotel clean, tidy and relaxing. Parking was very good, rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good for the overall price. We will book again

I always like to start with the positive and that was the staff being very helpful and the bed being very comfortable. Sadly the room was in a sad condition. Needs some tlc. Torn wallpaper, hole in wall, hole in door, dusty lights, no mattress protector, duvet torn, duvet cover non closing so duvet came out, dirty tea spoon, stained carpet and absolutely no basics like a glass for water, hairdryer, shower gel or tissues. The chairs were small and uncomfortable if you wanted to watch TV. In general it's not a fair price for a decent room as the standard is so low.

Clean room, staff very helpful, foods and beer was good.

I had to shorten my stay due to a change of plan, but happy with the hotel and service from the staff, hopefully my stay next time will be longer 😀

Room could have been cleaner had glass over dresser but eas dirty below the glass . Breakfast came out in dribs and drabs water for the tea/coffee was warm and not hot
