Lovely stay, the staff were fantastic and the room was lovely and they looked after us and our pooch!

The Bell is nice but our room was in a different house and quite a walk from the pub. That was not disclosed in my booking. The room did not have a safe and the door was not fireproof, the light from the hallway came both over and under the door. Old and quirky indeed. The decor was cute and the mini bar well stocked. The breakfast was excellent and I recommend the lamb for dinner. The service is good, would have stayed for a drink at the bar if my room hadn’t been so far away.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. The room was good, can tell it's an old building as the floor was not level, which effected the bed, but was still okay. The amenities were good, our coffee machine wasnt working, but when i saw one of th The hotel has very little parking, enough for 5/6 cars, however there is a public car park right next to the hotel, which is free for an overnight stay. Check in was smooth.

the room was nice and cozy. we booked late that same day and we received the stuart house room. great location. the staff in the morning were so friendly and welcoming. the breakfast was really nice.

Perfect, cosy clean room for a Winter Break.

Had a lovely stay at The Bell at Stow. The hotel is full of character and charm, with beautifully kept rooms that feel cosy yet refined. We did notice the sheets weren’t clean upon arrival, but this was quickly addressed by the staff, who handled it promptly and professionally. Service overall was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and homely. Its central location in Stow-on-the-Wold makes it a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. Despite the small hiccup, it was a pleasant stay and one we’d happily return to.

The hotel room was excellent and the bar and restaurant were also excellent. However, parking was an issue. No parking at property and the town pay carpark was full.

Nice room but needs a bit of TLC. Hairdryer didn’t work and we only had half a roll of loo paper. Breakfast was excellent, very good quality food.

Room was advertised as double but was in fact a single, it was a good job I was on my own, rather expensive for a single room

Would have been 5/5 however not hot water for the entire stay. When we asked we were told the water had been turned on however it hadn’t. We then were offered a full refund and a week later I see money has been taken from my account with no approval for 50% of the room. Really wanted to recommend this place as it could be so lovely but staff and service really lets it down!

Be aware that the room we were in wasup some very tight,steep with a twist stairs. No good if you have any mobility issues. Room was an annexed builing a 5-10 min walk from The Bell but it's literally in the centre of Stow so a great location. The Mrs wasn't so impressed with the access and the spiderwebs so i decided not to mention the urine stains on the toilet rim. I choose not to complain as overall i was happy with the room

Awsome little place to stay quiet and convinient

We stayed for 2 nights, the room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom. We had breakfast included in the room rate which was really good. Would definitely stay there again.

How can you not like a place where the rooms are named after animals? If I had a choice I'd have gone for dormouse, owl or stag, but Pheasant was good too. It was cosy, and the bed was comfy. And there was a bookshelf on the landing which was perfect for bookworms like me. I ate in the pub, and had the tastiest bangers and mash that I've had in a long time. Would certainly recommend.
