A 4 day stay in a comfortable cottage about 15-10 min drive from Selfoss, 5 min drive from the Kerid volcanic crater. Cottage with all amenities except washer in a quiet area with several other similar cottages. Nearest supermarkets in Selfoss (there is one nearer by but is was closed). Having a car is a necessity though.

I like in the countryside and unique lodge experience, being Cosy and hot-tub. The small inconvenience is the beds are rather small. My son's legs overhang the single beds. Also the steps was a bit too steep when visiting downstairs toilet middle of the night. Overall I loved it.
