Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, noch dazu mit Blick auf ein direkt gegenüber liegendes Gebäude, sodass es im Zimmer kein Sonnenlicht gab und es meist dunkel war und zudem laut. Frühstück ist mit a la Carte sehr begrenzt. Positiv waren die Sauberkeit sowie der Pool und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter.

The building and location are great. The view and sunset are amazing. The service, comfort and bathroom installations are not as good. In our first night there was a water pump going off and making noise every hour or so, making our sleep less than great. When showering, water would go up to our ankles almost, as the plug hole didn’t provide enough throughput. I asked for both things to be fixed and in the evening no one knew if they had been fixed or not. After some insistence and phone calls we heard the everything was fixed. Later, we found that only the pump was fixed.

Excellent location, many shops and restaurants nearby. Very close to the beach. We had a fantastic room with a lovely sea view. Clean and inviting pool area. Very good breakfast and helpful staff.

The room and rooftop were lovely, service was excellent, and the food was very good. The noise of children playing in the alley below went on til quite late, and the shower water never got very hot. Otherwise, a cool spot in the heart of Stone Town.

Hotel is situated right in the heart of stone town, close to everything. Felt very safe. The hotel had a boutiquey feel to it. Rooms were lovely, space to hang out and unwind was nice. Good food options if you don’t want to go out

Location close to many things. Location is off the regular streets. Roof top restaurant was nice and view was great. Some simple wire to keep the crows away would be nice! Room does need TVs but didn’t miss it. Wi-Fi signal needs improvement. Spa treatment was nice but location is an issue with echo and noise.

Altough the ad clearly states breakfast included, it was not breakfast included. We could prove how the ad states breakfast included the receptionist just told us «it’s not her fault, so it’s not her problem». Just shocked at how horrible the service was. If you do eat breakfast there, beware of the birds, they might not let you finish the breakfast before they try to steal everything. Didn’t get the room we booked either, and they clearly have a negative attitude towards certain tourists. The beds by the pool are broken, and it’s not always cleaned. Honestly can’t recommend staying here.

Veldig godt plassert, like ved det gamle fortet og nattmarked. Takterrasse der frukost blir servert har fin utsikt over havet. Bord og stoler ute er slitt av vær og vind. Bør skiftes ut. Liten pool med 4-5 solsenger og 7-8 solstoler var rent og forfriskende. Betjening er veldig hjelpsomme. Bestilte henting av oss på flyplass (20usd). Bagasjen vår var forsinka og resepsjonisten ringte flyplass gjentatte ganger for å purre på den. Wifi på rom funker ikkje, må være på takterrasse eller resepsjon.

Vilken mysig oas mitt i Stone Town. Liten mysig pool i skuggan o en fin takterrass för frukost, middag eller en drink i solnedgången. Ca 15 minuter från färjan vi tog från Dar es salam. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell!

War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Virkelig smukt hotel med god beliggenhed i Stonetown . Hyggelig restaurant på tagterrassen

Nous avons été accommodé lors de notre arrivée, puisque un malentendu c’est produit entre l’agence de booking et l’hôtel. Donc à notre arrivée, la première nuit n’était pas disponible pour nous. Les gestionnaires du Seyyida hôtel ont cependant pris en charge la situation. Il nous ont offert une nuit à un hôtel qui ce trouvais à 2 minutes de marche. Ainsi que les déjeuner et souper pour le reste de notre séjour dans un restaurant à la carte qui était excellent. De plus nous n’avons pas eu à prendre de transport puisque tout est à proximité de cette hôtel. 10/10 Merci à la directrice de l’établissement pour cette magnifique expérience!!

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Von der Dachterrasse hatte man einen tollen Blick über den Hafen. Das Hotel ist auch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker, sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist, dass der Ablauf der Dusche völlig verstopft war, sodass das Duschwasser nicht ablaufen konnte. Ich habe mittlerweile schon mehrere Hotels dieser Preisklasse in Stone Town ausprobiert und das Seyyida ist definitiv mein Favorit. Hier werden wir wieder übernachten.

we had a seaview room with balcony, which was a great option, comfortable bed, shower was excellent, a lot of hot water and a huge bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean, only the windows and balcony looked as if they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. In the evening it was a bit loud, as we could hear people from the other room talking very loud as they were just beside us. But fortunately they stopped talking after some time and we could sleep, so it is a little luck if you have loud neighboors or not. No noisy from outside. Dinner in the hotel was okay, we had the Club Sandwich with chicken and Vegetable Curry. The Curry was very strong, too spicy and not balanced. I had in other Restaurants excellent currys. We know service is slow everywhere in Sansibar but here it was extra slow… View from rooftop Restaurant is beautiful. Breakfast was good and came fast, we had some fruits and pancake. Juice was warm. I did one foot massage, which was not very professional. It was more a leg than a foot massage, I wish she had washed my feet before she started. The location is good, near secret Garden Restaurant, where we had a great lunch. We did not use the Pool but it looked clean. In all a good hotel to stay in Stone Town.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is attentive.

Flott hotell med egen rooftop. 3 min å gå til sjøen. Service er helt topp og de ansatte er behjelpelig med alt man måtte ønske. Rommene er store, rene og fine. Lekkert bad med god dusj. Aircondition er bra og sengene er gode. Ansatte kommer på kveldsrunde for å spraye rommet med myggmiddel før leggetid. Hotellet har ingen heis og en del trapper. Flott å være gjest på dette hotellet
