I went with my husband and kids and it was wonderful. The à la carts restaurant was very good for dinner and there were lots of options for dinner. There were lots to do for kids including a maze, an animal orphanage, fishing and taking their dogs out for a walk. Benson ensured we were happy with our rooms so we appreciated his cheerful help! We had a great time! They arranged a wonderful safari for us with Francis. Ask for the feather pillows.

Food and staff outstanding

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I especially loved having the fireplace lit in the room it made everything feel cozy and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily come back again.

Precioso hotel, servicio impecable, muy buen desayuno, comidas correctas, algo lentos los camareros. Habitación y cuarto de baño grandes y cómodos. Vistas directas al monte Kenia. Jardines cuidadisimos, tiene posibilidad de elegir entre muchas actividades. Un poco ruidoso: es un hotel muy enfocado a familias.

My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairmount Mount Kenya Safari. On our next visit to Kenya we will stay longer than 2 nights so we can spend more time enjoying the hotel.

Ett härligt ställe. Kan rekommenderas dock med reservation för att alla aktiviteter är på tok för dyra jmf. med likartade ställen. Priserna i minibaren i rummet är ett skämt.

The place is really beautiful. The staff are very friendly and their services are efficient i had a problem with hot water and is was fixed in minutes. The fire place and hot water bottles at turndown was really good. I feel the food needed some improvement especialy breakfast. Also consider serving pork on different stations not same with the other foods.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a place of great character, with lots of special touches.

A privilege to be so close to the animals.

The hotel is a destination itself, with a view beyond the normal! Well worth visiting, for 1-3 nights. But, the cost of the additional activities is shameless, 220 USD + entry fee for an hours drive to the foot of the mountain itself is way beyond fair. Likewise the same price, plus entry fee for a four hour safari.
